Dear Apple Engineers:
My app utilizes the App Clip experience. I would like to prevent the App Clip card from appearing when the host app is running in the foreground. How can this be achieved?
I have observed that Alipay (in China) does not display an App Clip card when the device is tapped against a tag while the app is in the foreground, which indicates that this behavior is possible.
Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Apple Developer team,
dear Apple Developer community,
I’m posting this publicly because I honestly don’t know how else to get a response.
Timeline:
December 3rd: I applied for the Apple Developer Program and received the confirmation email:
“Your program enrollment has been received.”
After that: complete silence for weeks – no status updates, no emails, nothing.
End of December: Only after I opened a support ticket myself did I receive a response asking me to upload additional documents.
January 12th: I uploaded all requested documents in full.
Since then: silence again.
Last Monday, I sent a follow-up email → no reply.
Today (January 26th), I opened a new ticket, referencing the existing case number.
Honestly, I have to ask:
Where is the professionalism in this process?
For comparison:
The Google Play Developer account verification (including identity and company checks) took around 24 hours.
Apple is one of the most valuable technology companies in the world.
Why does a basic developer enrollment take over two months, without transparent communication or even a simple status update?
At this point, I would really appreciate:
a clear status update, or
at least a realistic timeline for when this process will be completed
Right now, this experience feels neither professional nor developer-friendly.
Thank you for reading, and I sincerely hope for a timely response.

Hi everyone,
We’re experiencing an issue with App Store Connect → Sales & Trends (Sales) → Last 24 Hours (hourly) reporting, specifically for In-App Purchase (IAP) sales.
On January 30–31, 2026, when checking Last 24 Hours sales data, we consistently see IAP sales drop to 0 starting around 18:00 UTC, as if no purchases happened after that time.
However, we can confirm that IAP transactions did occur during the same time window using other validation sources (e.g., server-side logs / analytics). In App Store Connect, those hours still show 0.
I did a quick search and found reports of similar behavior affecting downloads/units for some teams, but in our case downloads/units look normal in Last 24 Hours. The problem appears to be only in the IAP sales portion.
Questions:
Is anyone else seeing hourly gaps / 0 values for IAP around Jan 30–31, 2026 (or today)?
Is this a known Sales & Trends reporting delay that eventually backfills, or an ongoing issue?
If you’ve seen this before, how long did it take to normalize/backfill, and did any specific check/filter help?
Dear Apple Developer Program Legal/Compliance Team,
I am writing in response to the termination notice regarding my Apple Developer Program account, in which Apple cites an alleged violation of Section 3.2(f) of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (ADP Agreement), based on “documented indications of fraudulent conduct.”
I respectfully request formal clarification and detailed information regarding this determination, as I take compliance obligations under Apple’s agreements very seriously.
Specifically, I kindly request the following:
Clarification of Alleged Conduct
Please specify the exact actions, behaviors, or activities that Apple has determined to constitute a violation of Section 3.2(f), including the category of conduct involved (e.g., technical interference, platform misuse, fraudulent activity, distribution abuse, business practice violations, or other).
Scope and Nature of the Evidence
Without requesting disclosure of sensitive internal systems, I respectfully ask for clarification regarding the general nature of the evidence relied upon (e.g., transactional records, system logs, behavioral patterns, policy violations, or platform integrity signals).
Account-Level vs. Application-Level Issues
Please confirm whether the alleged violation relates to:
A specific application or applications,
Account-level activity,
Distribution mechanisms (TestFlight, Custom App Distribution, Ad Hoc, etc.),
Or external operational behavior associated with the developer account.
Opportunity for Rectification or Compliance Remediation
Kindly advise whether Apple provides any compliance remediation pathway, corrective action mechanism, or review process for cases involving Section 3.2(f), including:
Formal reconsideration or appeal procedures,
Regulatory complaint mechanisms,
Compliance audit or corrective action submissions,
Reinstatement eligibility criteria.
Reapplication and Cooling-Off Period Requirements
Please clarify the conditions, requirements, and compliance expectations associated with the stated reapplication restriction period, including whether specific remediation steps, certifications, or compliance documentation may be required prior to any future eligibility review.
My intent is to fully understand the nature of the determination, ensure full legal and contractual compliance, and clarify whether any formal resolution or review mechanisms exist under Apple’s policies or applicable platform regulations.
I respectfully request that this inquiry be handled through the appropriate legal or compliance review channel.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Jiuru Song

Hi,
We're seeing a recurring issue in Sandbox only with in-app subscriptions (StoreKit 2). Hoping someone has run into this and has a workaround or explanation.
What happens
A subscription purchase (e.g. Yearly) is made in Sandbox. For whatever reason, the transaction stays pending in the queue.
On the next app launch (or when a different user logs into the app on the same device), the store returns this same pending transaction via getAvailablePurchases() / the purchase queue.
Our app sends that transaction to our backend for validation and updates the currently logged-in user in our database. So the same transaction can end up being applied to another user if they log in on the same device after the original purchaser.
We call finishTransaction after successful validation, but the pending transaction still reappears in subsequent sessions or for another user on the same device.
So in short: one Sandbox purchase stays "pending" and is replayed every time we start the app or switch accounts, and we can't rely on it being tied to a single user.
Environment
Sandbox only (we haven't shipped to production yet).
StoreKit 2 / modern App Store Server API (transaction ID validation).
We run getAvailablePurchases() on connect and process pending purchases once per session; we then call finishTransaction only after our server has validated and updated the user.
Same device, multiple app accounts (different app users, same Sandbox Apple ID or same device).
What we're trying to understand
Is it expected in Sandbox that one transaction can be delivered again and again (on each launch or for each user on the device) until something clears it?
Is there a recommended way to clear or ignore a specific pending transaction in Sandbox when we've already validated it for a given user (e.g. idempotency key, or a way to "consume" it so it doesn't replay)?
Has anyone else hit this "same pending transaction replaying for different users / on every launch" in Sandbox and found a reliable approach (e.g. server-side idempotency, or a StoreKit/Sandbox step we're missing)?
We've added server-side protection (one transaction → one user) so the same purchase isn't credited to multiple accounts, but we'd like to understand if there's a proper way to handle or clear this pending state in Sandbox.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You're here because you've had issues with your implementation of In-App Provisioning Extensions for Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification. To prevent sending sensitive credentials in plain text, create a new report in Feedback Assistant to share the details requested below with the appropriate log profiles installed.
Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification Issues
While troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification, it is essential that the issuer is able to collect logs on their device and check those logs for error message. This is also essential when reporting issues to Apple. To gather the required data for your own debugging as well as reporting issues, please perform the following steps on the test device:
Install the Apple Pay and Wallet profiles on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2.
Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video.
Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS.
Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information:
The bundle IDs
App bundle ID
Non-UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable)
UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable)
The serial number of the device.
For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > Serial Number (tap and hold to copy).
For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > Serial Number.
The SEID (Secure Element Identifier) of the device, represented as a HEX encoded string.
For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > SEID (tap and hold to copy).
For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > System Report > NVMExpress > Serial Number.
The sysdiagnose gathered after reproducing the issue.
The timestamp (including timezone) of when the issue was reproduced.
The type of provisioning failure (e.g., error at Terms & Conditions, error when adding a card, etc.)
The issuer/network/country of the provisioned card (e.g., Mastercard – US)
Last 4 digits of the FPAN
Last 4 digits of the DPAN (if available)
Was this test initiated from the Issuer App? (e.g., yes or no)
The type of environment (e.g., sandbox or production)
Screenshots or videos of errors and unexpected behaviors (optional).
Important: From the logs gathered above, you should be able to determine the cause of the failure from PassbookUIService, PassKit or PassKitCore, and by filtering for your SEID or bundle ID of your app or app extensions in the Console app.
Submitting your feedback
Before you submit to Feedback Assistant, please confirm the requested information above is included in your feedback. Failure to provide the requested information will only delay my investigation into the reported issue within your Apple Pay client.
After your submission to Feedback Assistant is complete, please respond in your existing Developer Forums post with the Feedback ID. Once received, I can begin my investigation and determine if this issue is caused by an error within your client, a configuration issue within your developer account, or an underlying system bug.
Cheers,

I am trying to create a new Xcode project. I am unable to open or create a new project, and am getting the error message "You don't have permission to save the file... in the folder..." and "Authentication failed because the credentials were rejected". I have confirmed I am signed in with the correct Apple ID. I have also confirmed through Xcode account settings, my account is in my organisation team, and I have an Apple Development Certificate and an Apple Distribution Certificate, both created 20/11/2025 (no status listed for either). Could someone please help?

I am developing a standard UAC 2.0 device and encountered an issue where the channel names do not update according to the iChannelNames field in the Class Specific AS Interface Descriptor when switching between different channel counts.
For example:
AS1 (6 channels) is configured with the following channel names:
ADAT 1, ADAT 2, ADAT 3, ADAT 4, HP L, HP R
AS2 (4 channels) is configured with:
ADAT 1, ADAT 2, HP L, HP R
However, when switching from AS1 (6 channels) to AS2 (4 channels), the channel names displayed in Audio MIDI Setup do not reflect the change as expected. The actual result is:
ADAT 1, ADAT 2, ADAT 3, ADAT 4
The system simply hides the last two channels; the names of the remaining channels are not updated.
Initial Topology
My original topology was as follows:
Later, I discovered that macOS uses the iChannelNames field from the Input Terminal to display channel names. Therefore, I modified the USB device descriptors and updated the topology to the following:
To distinguish the channel names for different channel counts, each Input Terminal is assigned a unique iChannelNames value.
This method worked perfectly on macOS 15. However, after updating to macOS 26, this topology no longer displays the correct channel names.
Question
On macOS 26, what is the correct method to ensure that the channel names update dynamically when switching between different audio channel configurations?
In these threads, it was clarified that Credential Provider Extensions must set both Backup Eligible (BE) and Backup State (BS) flags to 1 in authenticator data:
https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/745605
https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/787629
However, I'm developing a passkey manager that intentionally stores credentials only on the local device. My implementation uses:
kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly for keychain items
kSecAttrTokenIDSecureEnclave for private keys
No iCloud sync or backup
These credentials are, by definition, single-device credentials. According to the WebAuthn specification, they should be represented with BE=0, BS=0.
Currently, I'm forced to set BE=1, BS=1 to make the extension work, which misrepresents the actual backup status to relying parties. This is problematic because:
Servers using BE/BS flags for security policies will incorrectly classify these as synced passkeys
Users who specifically want device-bound credentials for higher security cannot get accurate flag representation
Request: Please allow Credential Provider Extensions to return credentials with BE=0, BS=0 for legitimate device-bound passkey implementations.
Environment: macOS 26.2 (25C56), Xcode 26.2 (17C52)

Hello everyone,
I'm currently waiting for my Apple Developer Program enrollment to be approved and wondering if my timeline is normal.
My situation:
Payment of $99 USD: ✅ Completed (have invoice and order number)
Government-issued photo ID: ✅ Submitted
Confirmation email received: ✅ Yes - "Thank you for providing the documents we requested. We will review them and follow up with you within two business days"
Days since confirmation email: 3+ business days
The email stated they would follow up within two business days, but it's now been more than three business days with no update.
My questions:
Is it normal for the review to take longer than the stated "two business days"?
For those who were approved, did you receive multiple emails throughout the process, or just a final approval email?
Has anyone experienced similar delays? What was the outcome?
Just want to make sure nothing is stuck or requires additional action from my side.
Thanks for any insights!

Hello everyone. I want to do navigationTitle (located on the top side on MacOS system) in LiquidGlass style. now my solution look like:
just black rectangle. But i want like this:
opacity and LiquidGlass. Like in Photo app in MacOS. Please help me, thank you in advance.
My code:
struct RootView: View {
@Environment(\.horizontalSizeClass) var hSize
var body: some View {
if hSize == .regular {
DesktopLayout()
.navigationTitle("title")
.toolbarBackground(.ultraThinMaterial, for: .automatic)
} else {
MobileLayout()
}
}
}
I have an odd bug, if I use initWithFrame as the init routine for NSView subclass that uses layers I don't see this bug.
But if I embedded this view into a storyboard with a .nib file and use initWithCoder, I need to return true on
(BOOL) contentsAreFlipped
From the NSView subclass
If I don't the CALayer actually renders from 0,0 from the view upwards and off the window.
The frame sizes for the NSView and the CALayer are good.. when I see them in updateLayer.
Obviously I have a fix.. but I would like to understand why.

I'm having issues accepting an invite to access TestFlight. I may have tried multiple attempts due to my existing email address not being accepted, so I had to create a new email that's not linked to Apple yet and put it in the activation form.
However, now I am getting an error, "Verification codes can't be sent to this phone number at this time. Please try again later." This has been an error since yesterday and the resend, verification via call, and text are all not working. I also tried a different phone number and same issue.
Can someone help on this, please.
Issue:
On Safari, two Smart App Banners appear for the same webpage when the iOS app is installed.
Cause:
• Banner 1: Native Apple Smart App Banner, automatically triggered by Safari via AASA / Universal Links.
• Banner 2: Smart banner injected by a third-party SDK (Branch.io).
• Both operate independently, resulting in duplicate banners.
Finding:
Safari’s native Smart App Banner behavior is system-controlled and cannot be disabled programmatically using web rules or JavaScript while Universal Links are enabled.
Question:
Is this behavior expected by design?
Is there any Apple-supported way to suppress the native Smart App Banner when using a third-party banner, or is the recommended approach to rely on only one banner system?
Hi all,
I am experiencing an error when attempting to pay for apple developer program
"Your payment authorisation failed on card •••XXXX. Please verify your information and try again, or try another payment method."
I have tried multiple payment methods and even another bank, Apple wont let me pay with apple pay in my region (AUS).
Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what is true here - if I am not in the correct forum please direct me :-)
A. It is not possible to test a QR code scan that contains a deeplink into my iOS app from an XCoode build test run.
In other words, The build must be published to Test Flight for the iOS's QR code scan sub-system to be able to process the deeplink into my app?
If I am wrong about this, it sure would help with testing to be able to test directly from the local XCode build test. If so, can someone point me in the direction of what I would need to do for that?
Thanks for your input either way!
I am contacting you to clarify a technical issue regarding the behavior of App Store Server Notifications (V2), as we have observed differences depending on the subscription plan.
Currently, we have noticed the following behavior when a refund occurs for an auto-renewable subscription:
Observed Behavior:
Monthly Plan:When a refund occurs, we receive a REFUND notification, followed by an EXPIRED notification indicating the subscription has ended.
Annual Plan:When a refund occurs, we receive the REFUND notification, but the expected EXPIRED notification does not arrive.
Questions:
Are there any differences in the conditions for sending EXPIRED notifications after a REFUND, depending on the subscription plan (monthly vs. annual)?
Is the absence of the EXPIRED notification for annual plans an intended behavior by Apple, or could it be a possible issue?
I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Hi,
I'm using webauthn.io to test my macOS Passkey application. When registering a passkey whichever value I set for User Verification, that's what I get when I check registrationRequest.userVerificationPreference on prepareInterface(forPasskeyRegistration registrationRequest: any ASCredentialRequest).
However, when authenticating my passkey I can never get discouraged UV on prepareInterfaceToProvideCredential(for credentialRequest: any ASCredentialRequest).
In the WWDC 2022 Meet Passkeys video, it is stated that Apple will always require UV when biometrics are available. I use a Macbook Pro with TouchID, but if I'm working with my lid closed, shouldn't I be able to get .discouraged?

At Nimble AppGenie, we’ve worked extensively as a FinTech app development expert, helping startups and enterprises design and build iOS financial applications that are secure, scalable, and user-centric. Our experience shows that the most successful fintech apps are those that balance strong security architecture with intuitive UX and performance optimization.
I’m interested to hear from the community:
What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced while building fintech apps on iOS?
Are there any recent iOS updates or Apple frameworks that significantly improved your fintech workflows?
How are you handling compliance and security in production apps?
Looking forward to learning from everyone’s experiences and best practices.
I've been developing an advanced gps tracking tool and had over 500 miles of data collected in the local storage of my test app. Recently, I used the XcodePreviews app to use my device to test UI updates as I was making them. To my surprise, doing this cleared all the data from my actual test app.
Has this happened to anyone else before?
Is there a way to recover my lost data?
Why does this happen?
I've verified that this is always clearing my app data. I tested by adding data to my actual test app then launching XcodePreviews - only to find that my app data has been cleared.
