MDM Behind Nginx SSL Cert Issue
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx. I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1. Cannot update HomeBrew, due to SHA256 mismatch on --jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz download
I want to install tesseract in order to get OCR feature in ChatGPT. Tesseract install requires the use of HomeBrew on macOS But I am using macOS 15.5 and the version of HomeBrew is not compatible. When tying to install Tasseract, old version of HomeBrew is detected and HomeBrew starts updating automatically. The process goes fine until the download of the jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz component. SHA256 mismatch is detected and the update process stops. But the downloaded jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz doesn't seem to be corrupted. Maybe an error of the expected SHA256? Any help is welcome that would enable me to complete the HomeBrew update process. Many thanks in advance for your support. ------------------------------ This is what I get in Terminal: Error: Could not find an SDK that supports macOS 15.5. Questions about BLE broadcasting in version 26
After upgrading to iOS system 26, the local name broadcast type is 08, but before upgrading, it is 09 and will be included in the scan resp message; In version 26, the scan resp will also include Manufacturer Specific Data. Before the upgrade, the broadcast message may not necessarily include Manufacturer Specific Data; What I want to ask is, are there any restrictions on Bluetooth broadcasting in version 26? Is it necessary to include Manufacturer Specific Data data? If Manufacturer Specific Data data is included, it may cause fields in the local name broadcast to be truncated and use simple names of type 08

Some questions about custom email domain names with iCloud+ Mail
In the actual development, I found that I could not complete the setting of my icloud+ customised email domain name SMTP. I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.

How can I create a shortcut to toggle macro control in iPhone settings?
I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity. Name: Telephoto and macro lenses Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. (Settings > Camera > Macro Control toggle) as well as (Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Macro Control toggle) Non-working shortcut code: Verification question: "Are you using an external lens?" If yes, Notification: "Turning on Macro Control and preserve settings for macro control." (Run below immediately) prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control And prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control If no, Notification: "Turning off Macro Control and Preserve Settings for macro control." (Run below immediately) prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control And prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control

In rare VoIP calls, B can’t hear A, but A can hear B — audio input issue on iOS?
Hi everyone, We’re seeing a rare but frustrating issue in our iOS VoIP app and would appreciate any advice. What’s happening: In some VoIP calls between two users (let’s say A and B), B can’t hear A’s voice, but A can still hear B just fine. It doesn’t happen often, but once it does, the issue persists until the device is restarted. Users who experience this issue typically have other voice or conferencing apps installed and actively use them. They report that when our app runs into this problem, those other apps continue to work normally. ⸻ What we’ve ruled out: • AVAudioSession has microphone permission, and audio input works under normal conditions • Network conditions are stable • App-side logic seems solid — the issue occurs extremely rarely (e.g., 1 out of several thousand calls), making it unlikely to be caused by a consistent bug in our call flow ⸻ What we’ve tried to fix it (all ineffective): Restarting the call — no effect Force-quitting and relaunching the app — no effect Toggling Bluetooth: disconnecting and reconnecting audio route, or switching back to built-in mic — no effect Replugging wired headphones or switching to the default iPhone audio input — no effect ⸻ What actually works (so far): • Restarting the device — this is the only action that reliably fixes the issue ⸻ What we’re looking for help with: 1. Does this sound like an iOS-level AVAudioSession routing or audio stack issue? 2. Is there any way to recover from this state without rebooting the device — either through iOS system settings or programmatically? 3. Are there any known audio routing or input bugs in iOS that match this behavior? Thanks in advance — any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Clearing an app’s memory, data etc.
My app works perfectly the first time it is used but when returning to the start after playing the game and playing another it does some random things. I figure it is because the app still retains the previous game in it’s memory allocation? My question is, what is the best way programmatically to have an app start fresh and not have to quit it and open it again?

Request for Confirmation of Paid International Repair Eligibility – iPhone 14 Pro
Dear Apple Support Team, I am writing to request clarification regarding paid service eligibility for my iPhone 14 Pro outside its original country of purchase. Here are the details of my device: Model: iPhone 14 Pro Serial Number: J346337TKY Purchase Date: December 2022 Current Location: Astana, Kazakhstan Warranty Status: Expired I recently visited an Apple Authorized Service Provider in Kazakhstan, and I was informed that my device could not be accepted for repair due to regional restrictions, even on a paid basis. I would appreciate your assistance in confirming whether my device qualifies for paid repair service in Kazakhstan, or if it is strictly limited to service in its country of origin. If not eligible, could you please advise on the nearest country or region where I can receive authorized service? Looking forward to your guidance on the next steps. Best regards, Ruslan D

iTunes Asks for an update that doesn't exist
I want to update my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 26 from iOS 18.5. I downloaded ipsw firmware. But iTunes and Apple Devices App requires update version of app for update to iOS 26. But I use last version of iTunes / Apple Devices, which was realised 2 May, 2025. That mean Apple need to update their apps for adaptation it to iOS 26 update?

Developer Program enrollment stuck in review for nearly 3 months – any advice?
Hello, I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue and can share any advice. We submitted our Apple Developer Program enrollment nearly three months ago, and the status has remained “In Review” ever since. We've contacted Apple Support several times by email, but all the responses have been generic – simply stating that the application is still under review, with no indication of what's causing the delay. To clarify: Our company is legally registered in Saint Vincent, but our development operations and team are based in the Philippines, which is also where the enrollment was submitted. We have no unresolved communications or pending documentation requests from Apple. This extended delay is starting to affect our business operations. Has anyone else experienced such a long review time? Were you able to escalate the issue successfully or get a more specific response from Apple? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Question regarding ethernet over USB-C
Hello, I have a question regarding the ethernet-over-USB-C stack within iOS/iPadOS. It seems that when manually assigning an IP on this interface within iOS, the IP is stored. Therefore, when disconnecting (the USB-C cable) and reconnecting to another device for a subsequent ethernet connection, the iOS device will always default to the previously assigned IP address (obviously, this isn't the case if the other end is a DHCP server). So, within the iPhone's Ethernet-over-USB-C driver, I was curious if iOS just keeps the assignment based on the MAC of the local USB-C interface, or is stored information tied to some other identifier? Is there a way to override this behavior? Thank you

different panels.
If I have, say a doctor appointment in the Calendar app, and I'm leaving to go to it, the address will appear in Apple Maps on CarPlay. Forgive if I'm getting the details wrong, but I believe if I bring up the Map, it will be available to tap on, so I can quickly go there. I think it may also show up on one on the car-play screens that shows a few different panels.

A wired keyboard connected via a hub cannot wake up the iPad on iOS version after 18.0
Problem Description: On the iPad 10th tablet, when a USB 2.0 interface extended by a Type - C interface through a USB 2.0 hub is used to connect a keyboard, there is an issue that the keyboard cannot wake up the system when the system version is 18.0 (inclusive) or higher. However, this problem does not occur on systems earlier than 18.0. Note: To ensure low power consumption of the product, if there is no key press on the keyboard for 10 minutes, the power supply of some functions of the hub will be cut off, but the power supply of the keyboard will remain on. When a key is pressed, the power supply of all functions of the hub will be reconnected.

Is It Possible to Restore Previous Browser State After openURL on iOS?
Hi Everyone, I’m currently working on a flow where a web page redirects to our app to perform certain actions, and then returns the user back to the browser. However, on iOS, the only way to go back to the browser is by using the openURL method. The issue is that this method can only open the browser app itself—it can’t control which tab or page is shown, so the user doesn’t return to the original tab they came from. The same limitation also applies to Android. Furthermore, iOS doesn’t allow an app to programmatically return to the previous app (in this case, the browser). While Android doesn’t have an official way either, in some cases, the OS automatically returns to the previous app when ours is closed. I’d like to ask: Is there any known method or workaround that allows returning from my app back to Safari (or the default browser) and restoring the previously active web page or tab? Or, is there any way to programmatically return to the previous app from within my app? Thanks in advance for your support!
