Running tests on multiple simulators and local mock servers
Hello, I have a question about running tests on multiple simulators. Currently, my company has a WDIO+Appium test suite with XCUITEST driver that runs on a single simulator through a mockttp proxy (we are intercepting and mocking some of the responses from our APIs and pass through the rest). In order to route the traffic we are currently using 'networksetup -setsecurewebproxy '. Everything works as expected. With growing number of tests we'd like to scale number of simulators on a single host to 3-5. We have a working setup but the problem are system-wide proxy settings routing traffic from multiple simulators, which we can't distinguish by UDID or any other means, we know of. We can spin multiple mock servers on the same machine but we are struggling to find the way to route the traffic on a simulator basis. In the end, both options are viable: 1 mock server running for multiple simulators N number of mock servers for N number of simulators Has anyone had the same/similar problem? How to approach this? We are currently running on Sequoia OSX and platform version 18.6. Thanks!

MatchMaker VC not showing existing matches after upgrade.
Updated my app to include turn-based matches. Beta testing through FlightTest and all was well between iOS 18.x and 26.2 devices. One beta tester upgraded to 26.2 during beta testing and now when the MatchMaker VC is opened, it does not show existing matches. Worse, he can create new matches and play his turn, but the new match won't even show up in MMVC, even after opponent takes turn. My app has been reviewed and is ready for release, but I'd like to know how to solve this before I release. He has tried re-installing the app, including an updated FlightTest version that is the same as the about-to-be-released reviewed version.

iOS 26 Crash: _xzm_xzone_malloc_freelist_outlined in com.apple.network.connections
Hello Apple Support Team, We are seeing a production crash on iOS 26 devices that appears to originate from Apple system frameworks rather than application code. Crash Summary Crash signature: _xzm_xzone_malloc_freelist_outlined Crashed thread: com.apple.network.connections Frameworks involved: CFNetwork, Security, libdispatch, libsystem_malloc Affected OS: iOS 26.x App built with: Xcode 16 Devices: Multiple models (not device-specific) Reproducibility: Intermittent, higher frequency during app launch / background networking Observed Stack Trace (top frames) _xzm_xzone_malloc_freelist_outlined dispatch_data_create_alloc xpc_data_deserialize SecTrustEvaluateIfNecessary CFNetwork HTTPProtocol / HTTP3Connection com.apple.network.connections App Context The app uses URLSession for networking. Multiple third-party SDKs are integrated (Firebase Analytics, Dynatrace, Appsflyer, and similar analytics/monitoring SDKs). These SDKs perform concurrent background network requests, especially during app launch and foreground transitions. No unsafe memory operations (manual malloc/free, unsafe pointers, or custom networking stacks) are used in the app code. Key Observations The crash is predominantly observed on iOS 26 and not on earlier iOS versions. Stack traces do not include application symbols. Disabling or delaying analytics SDK initialization significantly reduces the crash rate. Reducing concurrent network requests and limiting HTTP/3 usage also mitigates the issue. This suggests a potential regression in CFNetwork / Network.framework / HTTP/3 handling combined with the new memory allocator (xzone) on iOS 26. Impact Random app termination during background networking. Occurs without a clear deterministic repro path, making it difficult to fully mitigate at the app level. Request Could you please help investigate whether this is a known iOS 26 issue related to: HTTP/3 / QUIC networking XPC deserialization Memory allocation in the new xzone allocator High-concurrency network requests We would appreciate guidance on: Recommended mitigations Whether this issue is already tracked internally Any best practices for apps integrating multiple analytics SDKs on iOS 26 Crash logs and additional diagnostics can be provided if needed. Thank you for your support. Best regards, Dhananjay

Enrollment Stuck in "Processing" for Organization
Hello everyone, I’m currently enrolling as an Organization from Albania and I’ve been stuck on the "Enrolling" status for 8 business days now. I have my D-U-N-S number sorted and everything was submitted. I sent an email last week to the support but I haven't heard back yet. I’ve already sent another support message 2 days ago but no reply so far. I’m curious to hear from others who have enrolled recently (especially in 2026): How long did your organization verification take? Did you receive a verification phone call, or was it just approved via email? For those in the Balkans/Europe, did you have to provide extra local business registry documents (like the QKB extract) manually? I’m trying to time my launch with my Google Play release, so I’m a bit anxious about the "black hole" of waiting. Any experiences or "nudge" tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

CoreML GPU NaN bug with fused QKV attention on macOS Tahoe
Problem: CoreML produces NaN on GPU (works fine on CPU) when running transformer attention with fused QKV projection on macOS 26.2. Root cause: The common::fuse_transpose_matmul optimization pass triggers a Metal kernel bug when sliced tensors feed into matmul(transpose_y=True). Workaround: pipeline = ct.PassPipeline.DEFAULT pipeline.remove_passes(['common::fuse_transpose_matmul']) mlmodel = ct.convert(model, ..., pass_pipeline=pipeline) Minimal repro: https://github.com/imperatormk/coreml-birefnet/blob/main/apple_bug_repro.py Affected: Any ViT/Swin/transformer with fused QKV attention (BiRefNet, etc.) Has anyone else hit this? Filed FB report too.

Apple Developer enrollment stuck due to email verification code error
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has run into this before. I created an Apple Developer account and everything was working fine until Apple asked me to verify my work email address. The email is legitimate and matches my website domain. Apple did send me the verification email, and I received the code without any issue. However, when I entered the code, it repeatedly said the code was incorrect — even though I’m certain it was entered correctly. After a few attempts, I hit the limit and now see a message saying I’ve exceeded the maximum number of attempts (3). I contacted Apple Developer Support through the developer site about a week ago but haven’t received any response yet. At this point: I can log into my Apple ID normally with no issues I cannot proceed with enrolling in the Apple Developer Program I can’t pay the fee or complete setup because the email verification step is blocked It’s been over a week since the lockout, and I’m not sure how to reset the verification or trigger a new code. Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know how to get this resolved? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Really long App review delays
Hello everyone Hoping for some insights with an issue we're having with our app store review process. Note that this is not a new app, and we've had many successful reviews in the past. We submitted the app for review just over a week ago. We received a timely review about 24 hours later, citing an issue with Apple Pay. We make use of PassKit, but the reviewer could not find where we use Apple Pay in our app. I replied within a few hours with screenshots and videos, as it is quite easy to find where we use Apple Pay. Since then, we haven't received any feedback at all. I tried resubmitting a new build after 4 day,s and that is also sitting unreviewed for a while now. We've got features and bug fixes that were supposed to go out in this release, but we are now blocked on them. Is there anything we can do?

Read, Write, and Consuming Files / URLs
Hello, I have an asset pack that I'm use to periodically distribute a sqlite database thats being used to an NSPersistentStore. Because the database is over a few GBs, and the files in an AssetPack are not mutable, I have to stream the database into a temporary file, then replace my NSPersistentStore. This requires that the user has 3x the storage available of the database, and permanently uses twice to storage needed. I'd like: To be able to mark a URL/File to be accessible for read/write access To be able to mark a file / URL as consumed when it's no needed. So that it can be cleared from the user storage while still maintaining an active subscription to the asset pack for updates. Thank you

My application has been in ‘waiting for review’ for 5 days.
Hi everyone, are you experiencing this issue as well? My app has been stuck in “waiting for review” for about 5 days, and I’m not getting any responses to my tickets. We’ve prepared all our ad campaigns and advertising budgets, but Apple is not responding to the ticket, not pulling the app into review, and not approving it. It’s just stuck like this. Is there no Apple developer employee on the forum who can help?

Open Shading Language (OSL) in Metal
Hi. I'm a 3D designer, using Blender for most of my work. The most recent Blender conference discussed utilizing the Open Shading Language (OSL) in their latest versions, which allows designers to write custom shaders for their workflows. At the moment, only Nvidia Optix GPU's can utilize this language for rendering (from what I understand), but Blender developers stated they are waiting on other GPU manufacturers to implement this feature as well. I'm not sure if there are any licensing issues here, but would this be something Apple could implement in Metal to make their hardware more attractive to the 3D design community? Any help or knowledge on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

USDZ model files when opened in Preview turns black
On macOS 26.2 (Tahoe), the Preview app fails to render many USDZ models correctly. The issue appears inconsistent: • Some USDZ files open normally in Preview • Some USDZ files open but the viewport turns completely black (no geometry, no material, no lighting) • All the same files open correctly when opened using “Open With → Xcode” This was not the behavior on macOS 15.7.2, where the exact same USDZ files rendered consistently in Preview without failures.

Xcode26 build app with iOS26, UITabBarController set CustomTabBar issue
Our project using UITabBarController and set a custom tabbar using below code: let customTabBar = CustomTabBar(with: dataSource) setValue(customTabBar, forKey: "tabBar") But when using Xcode 26 build app in iOS 26, the tabbar does not show: above code works well in iOS 18: below is the demo code: AppDelegate.swift: import UIKit @main class AppDelegate: UIResponder, UIApplicationDelegate { let window: UIWindow = UIWindow() func application(_ application: UIApplication, didFinishLaunchingWithOptions launchOptions: [UIApplication.LaunchOptionsKey: Any]?) -> Bool { window.rootViewController = TabBarViewController() window.makeKeyAndVisible() return true } } CustomTabBar.swift: import UIKit class CustomTabBar: UITabBar { class TabBarModel { let title: String let icon: UIImage? How are we going to solve this problem? Thank you.

How to use DNSServiceReconfirmRecord?
TL;DR: How does one use DNSServiceReconfirmRecord() to invalidate mDNS state of a device that's gone offline? I'm using the DNSServiceDiscovery API (dns_sd.h) for a local P2P service. The problem I'm trying to solve is how to deal with a peer that abruptly loses connectivity, i.e. by turning off WiFi or simply by moving out of range or otherwise losing connectivity. In this situation there is of course no notification that the peer device has gone offline; it simply stops sending any packets. After my own timeout mechanism determines the peer is not responding, I mark it as offline in my own data structures. The problem is how to discover when/if it comes back online later. My DNSServiceBrowse callback won't be invoked because mDNS doesn't know the device went offline in the first place. I am trying to use DNSServiceReconfirmRecord, which appears to be for exactly this use case -- "Instruct the daemon to verify the validity of a resource record that appears to be out of date (e.g. because TCP connection to a service's target failed.)" However my attempts always return a BadReference error (-65541). The function requires me to pass a DNS record, and the only one I know is the TXT record; perhaps it needs a different one? Which, and how would I get it? Thanks!

App "In review" for long time
Dear App Review Team, Our app – Apple ID 6756967338, has been stuck in the “In Review” status for over 10 days (Jan, 19 at 1:33 PM). Normally, reviews begin within a few days, but in our case, it seems unusually delayed. Could you please clarify: • Is there a specific reason for this hold? • Is any action required from our side? • When can we expect the review to finish? Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Tone, Sentiment, language analysis on iPhone - Ideas
Hi everyone, I’m exploring ideas around on-device analysis of user typing behavior on iPhone, and I’d love input from others who’ve worked in this area or thought about similar problems. Conceptually, I’m interested in things like: High-level sentiment or tone inferred from what a user types over time using ML-models Identifying a user’s most important or frequent topics over a recent window (e.g., “last week”) Aggregated insights rather than raw text (privacy-preserving summaries: e.g., your typo-rate by hour to infer highly efficient time slots or "take-a-break" warning typing errors increase) I understand the significant privacy restrictions around keyboard input on iOS, especially for third-party keyboards and system text fields. I’m not trying to bypass those constraints—rather, I’m curious about what’s realistically possible within Apple’s frameworks and policies. (For instance, Grammarly as a correction tool includes some information about tone) Questions I’m thinking through: Are there any recommended approaches for on-device text analysis that don’t rely on capturing raw keystrokes? Has anyone used NLP / Core ML / Natural Language successfully for similar summarization or sentiment tasks, scoped only to user-explicit input? For custom keyboards, what kinds of derived or transient signals (if any) are acceptable to process and summarize locally? Any design patterns that balance usefulness with Apple’s privacy expectations? If you’ve built something adjacent—journaling, writing analytics, well-being apps, etc.—I’d appreciate hearing what worked, what didn’t, and what Apple reviewers were comfortable with. Thanks in advance for any ideas or references 🙏
