I am requesting assistance with an issue involving my Advanced App Clip Experience, which has remained in the “Received” state for more than few months, preventing the App Clip from becoming available when invoked via QR code.
App Details
App Name: Yellow Label Verification
App Store Bundle ID: com.acviss.demoindia
App Clip Bundle ID: com.acviss.demoindia.Clip
Team ID: F2RLQ4VV59
App Version (Live): 1.4
Domain: acviss.com
Issue Summary
My Advanced App Clip Experience is stuck in the “Received” status. The “Publish” and “Build Assignment” options never appear, even though:
The updated AASA file is correctly published at:
https://acviss.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association
It contains the correct appclips → appID and paths entries
It is served with the correct application/json content type
Domain validation in App Store Connect shows Validated
The App Clip build is already approved and live on the App Store
Safari-based App Clip invocation works as expected
Despite this, the Advanced App Clip Experience has not transitioned from “Received” to “Processing” or “Published.”
Because of this, QR-based invocation consistently shows “App Clip Unavailable”, indicating that the App Clip Experience has not yet been activated on Apple’s backend.
Reproduction Steps
Publish correct AASA file with appclips array and paths
Validate domain (shows green “Validated” in App Store Connect)
Open the Advanced App Clip Experience in App Store Connect
Status stays as Received
“Build Assignment” or “Publish” buttons never appear
QR scanning of the App Clip URL continues to show App Clip Unavailable
Request
Could you please check the backend processing of my App Clip Experience and manually trigger the sync or processing
It appears that the App Clip Experience is not being processed even though all configuration, AASA, and domain validations are correct. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this so the App Clip can be invoked successfully via QR.
Thank you very much for your help and support.

I use ARKit for motion tracking. I get the skeleton joint coordinates and use them for animation. I didn't make any changes to the code, but I updated the iOS version from 18 to 26, and modelTransform now always returns nil.
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/arkit/arskeleton3d/modeltransform(for:)
For example
bodyAnchor.skeleton.modelTransform(for: .init(rawValue: "head_joint"))
bodyAnchor is ARBodyAnchor.
I see the default skeleton on the screen, but now I can't get the coordinates out of it.
I'm using an example from Apple's WWDC presentation.
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/arkit/capturing-body-motion-in-3d
Are there any changes in the API? Or just bug?
Why there is a working animation with ScrollView + ForEach of items removal, but there is none with List?
ScrollView + ForEach:
struct ContentView: View {
@State var items: [String] = Array(1...5).map(\.description)
var body: some View {
ScrollView(.vertical) {
ForEach(items, id: \.self) { item in
Text(String(item))
.frame(maxWidth: .infinity, minHeight: 50)
.background(.gray)
.onTapGesture {
withAnimation(.linear(duration: 0.1)) {
items = items.filter { $0 != item }
}
}
}
}
}
}
List:
struct ContentView: View {
@State var items: [String] = Array(1...5).map(\.description)
var body: some View {
List(items, id: \.self) { item in
Text(String(item))
.frame(maxWidth: .infinity, minHeight: 50)
.background(.gray)
.onTapGesture {
withAnimation(.linear(duration: 0.1)) {
items = items.filter { $0 != item }
}
}
}
}
}```
macOS 26 "Tahoe" is allocating much more memory for apps than former macOS versions: A customer contacted me with my app's Thumbnail extension allocating so much memory that her 48 GB RAM Mac Mini ran into "out of application memory" state. I couldn't identify any memory leak in my extension's code nor reproduce the issue, but found the main app allocating as much as 5 times the memory compared to running on macOS 15 or lower.
This productive app is explicitly using "Liquid Glass" views as well as implicitly e.g. for an inspector pane. So I created a sample app, just based on Xcode's template of a document-based app, and the issue is still showing (although less dramatically): This sample app allocates 22 MB according to Tahoe's Activity Monitor, while Sequoia only requires 16 MB:
macOS 15.6.1
macOS 26.2
Is anyone experiencing similar issues? I suspect some massive leak in Tahoe's memory management, and just filed a corresponding feedback (FB21967167).

Hi, I'm investigating what looks like possibly nondeterministic behavior when linking large iOS app binaries. I do not have a concise reproduction of the issue yet, but am trying to hunt down possible leads. In particular, the problem appears to surface when invoking clang to link a binary and the resulting order of the 'branch island' instructions appears to be random each time the binary is linked (as shown by the link map output). I was wondering if anyone with insight into the linker's current implementation could shed light on whether that is expected, and if there is anything that can be done to prevent it. FWIW, it seems like it might be size-dependent as smaller app binaries don't appear to exhibit the same behavior. I'd be glad to share more specifics and hopefully a reproduction if I can ever find one eventually. Some environment info (Xcode 16.4 toolchain):
clang -v:
Apple clang version 17.0.0 (clang-1700.0.13.5)
Target: arm64-apple-darwin24.6.0
Thread model: posix

LTO support using: LLVM version 17.0.0 (static support for 29, runtime is 29)
TAPI support using: Apple TAPI version 17.0.0 (tapi-1700.0.3.5)
My application installs a system extension.
When I try to remove the app from the Applications folder (cmd + backspace) I get an error message:
"The operation can’t be completed right now because another operation is in progress, such as moving or copying an item or emptying the Bin."
According to systemextensionsctl the extension state is "terminating for uninstall but still running".
I can see an error in the console logs:
kernelmanagerd Failed to terminate dext com.my.driver-dk, error: Kernel request failed: (os/kern) invalid address (1)
sysextd a category delegate declined to terminate extension with identifier: com.my.driver-dk
sysextd failed to terminate extension with identifier: com.my.driver-dk: Optional(Error Domain=kernelmanagerd.KMError Code=38 "(null)")
Issue occurs with macOS 13 - works fine with macOS 12 and macOS 11
What is the problem here?
Have there been any changes in macOS in that regard?

Hello,
I am using CLLocationManager to monitor multiple CLBeaconRegion instances (up to 20). When the app is terminated by the system (not force-quit) and a region enter event occurs, the app is relaunched in the background.
I have two questions:
What is the expected execution time window after relaunch before the app is suspended again?
Is it supported to start short CoreBluetooth operations (e.g., scanning or connecting briefly) within this window?
I understand that force-quitting the app disables background relaunch, so this question applies only to system-terminated apps.
My iOS app currently holds a 3.5★ rating with limited reviews, and I’d like to raise it by motivating happy users to share feedback. I’m looking for ethical ways to do this without being pushy. What are the best strategies and timing for review prompts to boost ratings while keeping users satisfied?

The zoom navigation transition with matchedTransitionSource in tabViewBottomAccessory does not work when a Published var in an ObservableObjector Observable gets changed.
Here is an minimal reproducible example with ObservableObject:
import SwiftUI
import Combine
private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject {
@Published var isPresented = false
}
struct ContentView: View {
@Namespace private var namespace
@StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel()
// @State private var isPresented = false
var body: some View {
TabView {
Button {
viewModel.isPresented = true
} label: {
Text("Start")
}
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "house")
Text("Home")
}
Text("Search")
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass")
Text("Search")
}
Text("Profile")
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "person")
Text("Profile")
}
}
.sheet(isPresented: $viewModel.isPresented) {
Text("Sheet")
.presentationDragIndicator(.visible)
.navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace))
}
.tabViewBottomAccessory {
Button {
viewModel.isPresented = true
} label: {
Text("BottomAccessory")
}
.matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)
}
}
}
However, when using only a State property everything works:
import SwiftUI
import Combine
private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject {
@Published var isPresented = false
}
struct ContentView: View {
@Namespace private var namespace
// @StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel()
@State private var isPresented = false
var body: some View {
TabView {
Button {
isPresented = true
} label: {
Text("Start")
}
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "house")
Text("Home")
}
Text("Search")
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass")
Text("Search")
}
Text("Profile")
.tabItem {
Image(systemName: "person")
Text("Profile")
}
}
.sheet(isPresented: $isPresented) {
Text("Sheet")
.presentationDragIndicator(.visible)
.navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace))
}
.tabViewBottomAccessory {
Button {
isPresented = true
} label: {
Text("BottomAccessory")
}
.matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)
}
}
}

Hello,
I am facing a recurring issue with Xcode iOS simulator (preview). I want to preview a SwiftUI for iOS in Xcode, but the Simulator app fails to boot up.
I receive the following error in Xcode:
Cannot Preview in this file. Simulator was shutdown during an update.
I have tried the following:
Completely uninstalling XCode and deleting all developer data, then reinstalling everthing again.
Shutdown and restart
Deleting all developer data, deleting XCode cache
Reinstalling iOS Simulator runtimes and reconfiguration of simulators.
Tested using different simulator and runtime versions.
"xcrun simctl --set previews delete al"
My reported issues:

Thank you
Best regards,
Jens

I applied for the Apple Developer Program on January 31, 2026, and as of today (February 5, 2026), my enrollment is still showing as Pending.
The payment was completed successfully at the time of application. Since then:
I have not received any requests for additional documents or verification.
I have contacted Apple Developer Support twice, but have not received any response so far.
I understand processing times can vary, but the lack of response from support is concerning.
Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently?
Is there any recommended escalation path or alternative way to reach the Developer Support team?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this delay is impacting my app release timeline.
Thank you.
I started a project targeting macOS and used Storyboard app lifecycle. I also used Xcode Previews in this project.
If I:
Keep the entry point of the main storyboard to a window controller. (as default setup in macOS),
Turn the Xcode window into full-screen,
That window controller would pop up its window every time Xcode Previews refreshes.
I tested in Xcode 26.3 RC and many versions before.
I am trying to create a developer account for my organization. I have validated our DUNS number and Entity Name on https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/.
However, when I try to add this number to create a developer account, I get a pop-up suggesting a mismatch in the entity and DUNS number.
I have tried this several times without any success.
Request you to please help me resolve this issue.
Thanks.
Sanket
We are observing some unexpected behavior in our app when using ASK.
Our app is able to successfully discover and set up an accessory via ASK. After the setup completes, the connection to the accessory is managed through CBCentralManager and works as expected.
However, when we attempt to discover another accessory afterward, the picker is shown and indicates that accessory discovery is in progress. After approximately 10 seconds, the CBCentralManager delegate reports the Bluetooth state as poweredOff. Once this happens, the state never transitions back to poweredOn.
At this point, the only way to reconnect to the device or continue discovery is to relaunch the app.
We are wondering if anyone else has encountered similar behavior, or if this is a known or documented limitation/behavior when using ASK in combination with CBCentralManager.
Among requirements to transfer app there is one called "clear all builds and testers and empty all fields under Test Information" under TestFlight but it seems there has been an update to appstore internal code as now I simply can't clear any field under Test Information as error pop ups "There are one or more errors on page." requiring me to fill them. How do I transfer apps now?

Hello everyone,
I’m looking for some clarity from the community regarding eligibility for the Swift Student Challenge 2026, particularly for students taking a gap year in India.
I graduated from high school (Class XII, CBSE – India) in May 2025. After graduating, I chose to take a gap year to prepare for competitive entrance examinations in India, with the goal of pursuing Computer Science / Engineering. I’ll be applying to accredited universities for programs starting in mid-2026, and I’m not currently enrolled in a college.
My question:
The eligibility guidelines state that high school graduates must have graduated within the past 6 months and must be awaiting acceptance or have received acceptance to an accredited institution. Since the submission deadline is February 28, 2026, my graduation would be about 9 months prior, which puts me in a gray area.
Has anyone here participated in, or seen others participate in, the Swift Student Challenge while taking a gap year and preparing for university entrance exams? Is there any known flexibility or precedent for students in this situation?
I’ve been following the Swift Student Challenge since 2023 and would really love to participate if I’m eligible. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hello!
I've been successfully using StartCalendarInterval in Launch[Agent|Daemon] *.plists for years.
You know the deal: Mac is sleeping when CalendarInterval passes, then launchd runs the job when Mac is awoken. (This behavior is described at the bottom of an Apple doc from 2016 -- exactly how it worked before!)
Recently, behavior has changed: with the computer asleep, when the date/time of the CalendarInterval passes, macOS runs the job! Even when "sleeping".
However, it gets stranger: macOS will start a job when sleeping, but then suspend it in the middle.
I wrote a timestamped log to check this behavior: I see job start, pause in the middle, then resume hours later when a user wakes the computer.
This all makes me think that "sleep" on macOS in the past few years is now defined differently -- perhaps an Apple Silicon change? But I can't find documentation that covers this. Buried in a WWDC video, maybe?
Has anyone else seen this change in launchctl calendar scheduled jobs?
Hello,
I have a problem generating a 2048-bit FairPlay Streaming certificate.
I tried generating SDK v26.x certificate in two ways.
(1) Use existing certificate
(2) Create new certificate
Though, in both ways, Apple gives me a certificate bundle of 1024-bit certificate.
(fps_certificate.bin)
I've uploaded 2048-bit CSR on creating a certificate.
Just to note, I have created a SDK v4.x certificate few years ago.
Have anyone bumped into a same issue?
Or am I missing something?
