Hello all, I have an application that uses broadcast extension of Replay kit to record the entire screen and mic sound to a file on iOS. Up until some months ago, everything was smooth. Currently I am facing the following issue. If another app uses the microphone, then I loose the sound and never comes back. In order to debug this issue I have added a log to the processSampleBuffer, that logs a text each time it receives a .audioMic buffer type. I start the recording and everything works as expected. Later on, I go onto an app that uses microphone, and then I do not get any log for audioMic. I stop the recording on that app, but the sound never comes back. This as a result makes my video file to not have any sound at all. In the above context I also noticed that even with Photos app broadcast extension, if you start recording a video, and you go to Speech to text feature of the keyboard, then the sound is joined. While the STT is on, there is no sound and the sound of whatever comes after STT stops is joined to the sound before the STT starts, so I guess that this is something general. Also on the same research I did, I saw that google Meet app does not allow any microphone to be used from another app while you are in a meet (Even the STT is grayed out). I would like to know my options here. What can I do to have a valid video file with sound? How can I not allow other apps to use the microphone while my app is recording? Is there any entitlement? How does Google Meet do that? P.S. I have added an observer to observe the interruptions for the session and the type .began runs, but the type .ended does not, so I can not actually set the AVAudioSession to active again.

I am trying to add a custom domain to my iCloud+ Mail however when I try to add its main user/email address I get an error saying that the email is already in use with another apple account. After this I checked the duplicate account and since I had forgotten the password I reset it and logged in. Then I followed the instructs on https://support.apple.com/en-in/102283 to permanently delete my account. This request was initiated on 8 Feb 2025 but I received the final email that all my data had successfully been deleted from Apple's servers on 25 Feb 2025. Despite Apple's confirmation that my account had been deleted successfully, I am still unable to use that email address to create an iCloud+ Mail account, even after waiting a whole month! This is very frustrating. I contacted Apple support via chat and phone and after more than 30 mins of back and forth they instructed me to contact Developer Support which I did two days ago (case ID is 102546369564) still no response. I am using an iPad Pro 11” on iOS 26 dev beta. I try to open 12+ apps and they don’t work. I have tried force restarting the device and checking settings and everything seems to be in order.

I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type. Setup: Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar" Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins. Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents. Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform. iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed. I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets. Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

During testing, the devices successfully paired — I can see each other’s devices under Settings > Privacy & Security > Paired Devices. However, in the Wi-FIAwareSample app, neither the Host nor the Viewer can retrieve the paired devices. I’m not sure what’s causing this issue. While on ios26 beta2 i changed my battery for an aftermarket one. Phone cannot be charged anymore, battery status 1%. So it reboots. had to replace oem battery to make local backup, to revert to ios18. and have aftermarket battery to work again.

Okay… help me out, I’m behind on the times. Upgraded to the 26 beta from … honestly I think I was still using 16-something? And I’m wondering where the photo markup feature went? To be clear, I’m referring to the ability to write on a photo or screenshot from the Photos app by clicking “Edit”, then “Markup”. Is it gone or am I overlooking it? And do forgive me if this feature has been gone for a while already—as I mentioned, it’s been a while since I bothered with an iOS update. (So far, I definitely liked the version I was on previously much more!)

My imessage has been acting up for 1 month now. It fails to activate my phone number and prefers my email. This is a beta issue Apple support has told me and it needs fixing asap.

hi, im new to this, i updated my ipad pro 5th gen, to the latest ios 26 beta developer, but today, after using it like i regularly do, right now is with a black screen, is it related to the beta? do i need to downgrade? it is still working, the mac detects it, and it sounds by unlocking it, anyone had this same issue?

This issue only happens of first time connection; I have asked OEM factory, they told me because of my iOS version is larger than 17.5, and above this version, will have this issue. So, I need your help to figure problem and update in new version.

what else can you do with it except for getting the alarm run off? and the alarm even gets dismissed when the user presses any buttons on device even volume buttons. I hope it's better by the time when iOS26 is officially released but I can't prepare for the new iOS update with this useless new framework. does anybody know what new features in this framework are coming up?

i am running iOS 18.5 beta 3 (iPhone 16 pro max) and my phone will not connect wirelessly to any of my vehicles. When connected via the apple certified usb-c cord, it will connect just fine. I have removed all vehicles from my phone, then removed my phone from both vehicle, reconnected, and it still will not connect wirelessly.

There is no option in the contacts through the phone selection to search contacts. You have to go into the actual contacts app to do that now

Hello, our account was closed months ago. I have made a great effort to get a response by filling out all the forms, especially Apple Turkey, but months have passed and I have not reached a conclusion. We created a developer account and opened a developer account for our company with the help of duns. After opening the account, we published our application and suddenly our developer account was closed. Since our developer account was our main account, we could not fully control our application. We would like to know why the closed account was closed, how we can change our main account using our company information or how to open our closed account. We really wasted a lot of time with developer support and turkey support team and got no help! How can we solve this problem?

Hi, Whatsapp on my MacBook Pro (2021) running MacOS 26 launches all by itself whenever I receive a new message. How does this happen and is there a fix for this? I'm worried it might be some privacy issue?
