Hello, i just noticed that when i download an app through the App Store on my iPhone, the app i downloaded does not appear on my home screen or in the App Library. is there any work around for me to make them appear at least in the App Library? the only way to open or to place an app on my home screen I downloaded after upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is to search for it in Spotlight or in the App Store. Any apps I downloaded before upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is still on my home screen or in the App Library. i am currently running iOS 18.4 Beta 3 on an iPhone 16 Pro

Currently running 15.5 Beta 3 on a Mac Studio M4. I am unable to read/write to my Home folder from most of my applications. I receive an error basically saying I do not have access rights to the file/folder. If I go to the file directly and open it, it works. I have repaired disk permissions, checked the Sharing & Permissions settings via Get Info, and finally called Apple. Of course, since I am running the beta, the support was quite limited. I will add that I am also unable to open .dmgs that have been downloaded to my Downloads folder. I receive the "The disk image couldn’t be opened. The operation couldn’t be completed. Operation not permitted" error. If I copy the .dmg to another drive, I can open it from there.

A a group of hackers have been illegally accessing my iPhone, all my accounts on my phone, my online university portal, all my stored passwords, and my iCloud. I have changes to my iPhone that I did not do. No one has had access to my iPhone other than myself. I have been dealing with these hackers for five+yrs. they have locked me out of my accounts for several years by changing all my login information. They have disabled my laptop and they have reset my previous phone remotely. I was sent a message from my provide t-mobile that they locked my phone due to someone trying to remotely reset it. Now I am dealing with the same people again. My iphone heats up tremendously, my battery drains constantly, I cannot access my accounts because they are changing my passwords, and now they have disabled access to my sim.

How did my contacts suddenly end up on iCloud when I didn't give permission to do such? Where is your security and privacy commitment for your own software, Apple? No wonder celebrities get hacked. They hack 1, and then you get a list of phone numbers and emails for a whole bunch of other A-listers.

A feature like this can come to it. When we press it twice, it will open the camera, when we press it once, it will open the flash. If such a feature comes, it will be easier to use

Hi, We have recently encountered a problem running our App on iPads with A9, A10 chipset. Since recently we have migrated our Network module to swift 6 our app has stoped working on these devices. Anyone else has noticed that too or if someone know why that is happening only for iPads with specific hardware?

I’m trying to register an Apple Developer Account for my company. I uploaded all the required documents, but my initial application was rejected, and I was asked to provide notarized translations of my documents. I translated them and submitted everything for review on April 1. After a week without a response, I contacted Apple Support. They replied that the documents had been received and were under review. However, as of today, April 24, my account is still under review. I’ve sent five follow-up emails to Support asking for a status update on my case, but I haven’t received any replies. Has anyone faced a similar situation and could suggest what I can do to get a status update and finally complete the registration? Our app provides configuration and maintenance features for Siemens electrical devices. The app supports multiple devices and the devices have their own specific features, which also need to be supported by our App. The devices can be released to the market only when our app supports those features. Our app release timeline is once in every 4 months. We face a challenge when some of these devices are not able to deliver their features by our release time. So, we would like to make these devices plugins, which can be independently released, without releasing the App every time. The app would, of course, be released once in every 4 months, depending on the common features. I'm not able to find how to release only the plugins within the app, without releasing the entire app. Some one has suggested app extensions, but that does not fit our solution as in some cases, we need continuous polling of data from one or mode devices for minutes or hours, as the app can be used by the user to monitor some of the device values.

Hello Apple Developers, I am experiencing an issue where USB audio input (e.g., external USB microphone) is blocked when using AirPlay screen mirroring from my iPhone to a Mac or Apple TV. However, the built-in microphone continues to work without any problem. Issue Details: I am using an iPhone 15 (or latest device) running iOS [your iOS version]. I connect a USB audio interface/microphone via a USB-C adapter or Lightning adapter. The USB microphone works perfectly for audio input before starting AirPlay. The moment I enable AirPlay screen mirroring, the USB microphone stops working, and it disappears from available audio input sources. The built-in microphone continues to function, but I cannot use the USB microphone while mirroring. When I stop screen mirroring, the USB microphone immediately becomes available again. Expected Behavior: I would expect iOS to allow me to continue using an external USB microphone while mirroring my screen, just like it allows the built-in microphone to work. Questions: Is this an intentional restriction in iOS? Is there any workaround to enable USB audio input while using AirPlay screen mirroring? Is there a way to request a feature or configuration option to allow external USB microphones during AirPlay? I appreciate any insights or guidance from the Apple team or fellow developers. The latest Beta update 18.5.4 has caused connectivity problems with my car (Skoda Enyaq) whereby there is no connection via Bluetooth or the cars internal WiFi. Also contacts will not download to the care which is very frustrating.

I want to implement a feature where a custom notification sound file is downloaded from the server when the app is first launched and stored locally on the device. When a push notification arrives, the stored sound should be played in all app states, including foreground, background, and terminated (killed) state. Does anyone have an idea on how to implement this in iOS? Specifically, I am looking for guidance on: 1)Downloading and storing the sound file securely on the device. 2)Using the locally stored file for push notification sounds. 3)Ensuring the sound plays correctly in all states, including when the app is not running.

Hi all, after installing ios 18.4 beta here in Europe (and also resetting and restoring my iphone given Apple Intelligence features were not working at all initially) my phone decided to reoptimise my whole photo library which took a while and I understand it was a battery consuming process. Nonetheless, this is all done, all Apple intelligence features supposedly work and my phone is still in ongoing device setup burning through the battery to the point I am sure this will make my battery health drop. does anyone know what is going on (indexing?), how long it will take and why is it happening? Is it because of the 18.4 beta or because of having Apple Intelligence for the first time? can someone please confirm that at the very least this will NOT have to take place again after moving to the official 18.4? thanks

I'm currently trying the traditional mode on the latest beta and the slide-over and the traditional splitview is not available, I would like to ask if it's completely removed or just a minor bug because my automation app rely heavily on this old two feature

I'm pretty desperate today and unfortunately it's making me sick, really sick. Yesterday I edited a note on a MacBook Pro, M2 processor, MacOS Sequoia 15.8.1 (-1) and today the text work I invested several days in is lost. My only option is to delete the note! So far I've had very, very good experiences with the Notes.app, robust, reliable, manageable range of functions. When integrating the math functions I became really suspicious for the first time. I had calculated series and sequences and suddenly the Note.app froze for a worryingly long time, in fact the entire operating system was blocked. Then today I got a huge shock, the note can no longer be opened, neither on the iPhone nor on the MacBook Pro. The note contained my business concept for a business partner. I had already been writing the concept for several days! I estimated the value at several thousand euros. This has torn me apart, I can feel myself getting sick. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and it might take a week for me to get a sick note. I'm pretty shocked. Here are the technical details, in case someone at Apple Incorp. wants to look into it. The note contains links and photos and is encrypted! Which in and of itself is an impossibility. Or is it? In any case, the Notes.app has always stubbornly claimed that I cannot encrypt notes with this content. That's a paradox, isn't it? I'm schizophrenic! I'm attaching the Notes.app crash report to this post. I can't say more at the moment. Except that I'm very, very sad and very, very shocked. Notes wurde unerwartet beendet.

I'm running IOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. If I delete an email on my iPhone, it is still in the inbox on my iMac. If I delete an email on my iMac it is deleted from the inbox on my iPhone. Is this because of the Beta software on my phone?
