Unusually long “Waiting for Review” times this week (App Store + TestFlight delays?)

Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing unusually long review waiting times and wanted to ask if others see the same behavior this week.

My situation:

• App Store update has been in “Waiting for Review” significantly longer than usual • A newly submitted build also seems stuck • TestFlight processing is slower than I normally see • Expedited review request and contact attempts didn’t change the status so far

What confuses me is that I still see other apps receiving updates, so I’m unsure whether this is a broader review delay or something submission-specific.

I’m not trying to escalate anything — just looking to understand if this is currently affecting more developers.

Would really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences.

Same here. It’s been 5 days and nothing seems to happen. Annoying.

Same here. New app, Apple ID: 6748582437. Today is day 5 and nothing seems to move. In the past I had apps approved in a matter of hours!

Same for me. I put an app for review on Feb 11th and it was super quick as usual. Then I fixed an important issue and submitted it for a review on the next day Feb 12h. I am now waiting for over a week.

Previously, it was always done in a day or two. Maybe the first one got through quickly, because I do not update very often. Two updates in a row might have triggered some alarm of potential AI crap app???

I'm in the same situation. I submitted a week ago an app update. It stays "in review" since then with no updates whatsoever. I submitted a support case yesterday but no response either.

It's really annoying. Apple has no shame asking for 99euros/dollars subscription a year but in return they are not able to provide proper support.

I have literally had to changed one line of code for hotfix which is an unfortunate typo and it is waiting for review past 48 hours

Same here. I resubmitted it again after accepting the new Terms of Use in App Store Connect, thinking also that might have been the cause of the delay. But still the same. For the past 4 years that I’ve been updating my app, it has always taken less than 1 day. So this delay is unusual.

Hello, Same for me, I've published my app for review on the 4th of February 2026. It has been on "Waiting for review" since that day. We are on the 18th of February 2026 and my app still didn't get verified. I've been trying to contact support two times and I also did ask for an accelerated review but didn't get any response. That's really sad knowing I had a big advantage of timing by having the idea and building it early, and I am now seeing new competitors building the same app...

Same problem. Going for two weeks now. Not even requesting an expedited review is helping.

Under review since February 6 — already 14 days! The saddest part is that our whining doesn’t seem to interest anyone. Let’s face it, no one has replied to us in the thread so far. Thanks, Apple.

Same here. I submitted a build 2 weeks ago with no status updates. I opened a case via email and didn’t hear back so I called support and they said it wasn’t normal and submitted an expedited request. Then after 2 days I didn’t hear anything so I called again and they told me that wasn’t normal either and said they would mark it on their calendar to follow up with the developers on. 2 more days went by and I hear nothing from supports promise so I once again and was told the same thing, that this isn’t normal and they’ve sent multiple requests to their development team. They keep telling me “24 more hours” and when I don’t hear back, I call again and they just keep telling me to call back in 24-36 hours If it’s not approved. I have no idea how me calling every day will help if multiple expedited requests have been sent as well as “emailed requests“.

@cassidiedwards What number did you call to? Are you based in the US? I haven't found any other way to contact them besides email, but so far I haven't heard anything from them.
