Cannot enable inactive devices
As the title says, in apple developer site under (Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles) all my devices are set to inactive, and I cannot enable them back because my twices are glitched I have 2 devices and they are there twice each with the same UDID. So I cannot enable a single one. I’m hit with “A device with number 'UDID number' already exists on this team.” I have an iPad Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, I cannot sign any apps to them at all or do anything because my devices are set to inactive, I’ve contacted apple numerous times, and I can’t seem to get any help regarding this issue. I’ve called and emailed, and the developer team has yet to respond to me, if anyone’s had this issue please tell me how you solved it. i also cannot erase any devices myself until my renewal date. ive tried manually adding my devices, and its the same message that my devices already exist on team. Ive signed out of my apple account on my devices, changed pw, turned off developer mode and renabled it numerous times, I really don’t know what to do.

Developer Disk Image could not be mounted on this device
I have been working on a M1 Mac mini, using my iPad Air M2 running 26.3 iPadOS. Switched to a new M4 Mac mini, went to connect my iPad to run from Xcode and was presented this "The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device." So how can a get an updated DDI? I appreciate any ideas. /Users/robertlawson/Desktop/Screenshot 2026-02-15 at 8.21.50 PM.png

Video in "Made for iPad" apps on macOS
I'm relatively new to Swift development (and native iOS development for that matter) I've got an iOS app that uses the iPhone / iPad built in cameras, and am looking to make this more compatible with macOS. Using the normal AVCaptureDevice.DiscoverySession I seem to get the iPhone Continuity Camera and the in-built MacBook Pro camera but I don't see other input devices that I see in QuickTime Player (for example) such as connected external cameras or Virtual Inputs provided by NDI Virtual Input and OBS. Is there a way to see access these without a specific Mac build (as the rest of the functionality works great, and I'd rather not diverge the codebase too much as it's easier to update one app than two!

Apple Developer Account Not Activated After One Month
We purchased an Apple Developer Program membership on 20th January, and even after nearly one month, the account is still not activated. The Apple Developer app continues to display “You will receive an email soon,” but we have not received any communication from Apple so far. This is a first-time subscription, and the prolonged activation delay is impacting our development and release timelines. We would appreciate clarification on the reason for this delay and guidance on the next steps.

My iPhone will not charge from my Mac Mini
I recently replaced my older Macbook with a Mac Mini. My iphone charges fine from a powered USB hub, but when I connect the hub to my new Mac Mini, my phone stops charging. This is the same phone, hub, and cables that worked just fine with my Macbook. I M running Beta 26.3, but the MacBook was also on Beta 26. Anyone have any ideas?

Blockchain question
I’m a normie: not a developer at all. My idea might be super dumb. Would it be possible to please let us have a button in iphone photos that when toggled allows us to save certain chosen raw images to an iphone block chain, AND have Apple authenticate they are native photos, marked the milisecond they were taken, that they are native and no AI was used on those images? That might go a long way toward restoring trust in truth in photos again. We could also have the same thing for AI. Marked notification in the data on AI photos that can't be erased. Sorry if this is already underway and I'm just a normal person and therefore don't know it. I just want to be able to trust things again. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Could not install [APP]. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist.
I've created a new app on App Store Connect. Setup everything like all the forms, the build, users, internal testing group, and then sent the invitation emails for testing. Now users can see the app in the TestFlight but when they try to install it, they get the error below. Could not install [APP]. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist. I've sent an email to Apple support couple of days ago but still no response. Saw some comments on the internet that you need to send your app for review and once it's approved you can use TestFlight. So I sent the app for review with a long description about how I'm not able to use TestFlight but still on wait. Tried to create a public TestFlight link but I get this error: "Beta contract is missing for the app." but there's actually no contract anywhere. What do I do? This is completely unacceptable. Why is the TestFlight not working? Why are the error messages not helpful?

Is it possible to instantiate MLModel strictly from memory (Data) to support custom encryption?
We are trying to implement a custom encryption scheme for our Core ML models. Our goal is to bundle encrypted models, decrypt them into memory at runtime, and instantiate the MLModel without the unencrypted model file ever touching the disk. We have looked into the native apple encryption described here https://developer.apple.com/documentation/coreml/encrypting-a-model-in-your-app but it has limitations like not working on intel macs, without SIP, and doesn’t work loading from dylib. It seems like most of the Core ML APIs require a file path, there is MLModelAsset APIs but I think they just write a modelc back to disk when compiling but can’t find any information confirming that (also concerned that this seems to be an older API, and means we need to compile at runtime). I am aware that the native encryption will be much more secure but would like not to have the models in readable text on disk. Does anyone know if this is possible or any alternatives to try to obfuscate the Core ML models, thanks

ProgressView(timerInterval:countsDown:) bar never reaches zero
Consider the following code on iOS: struct ContentView: View { @State private var timerInterval = Date(timeIntervalSince1970: 0) ... Date(timeIntervalSince1970: 0) var body: some View { VStack { ProgressView( timerInterval: timerInterval, countsDown: true ) Button { let now = Date() let then = now.addingTimeInterval(5) timerInterval = now ... then } label: { Text("Start") } } .padding() } } When I tap on the Start button, the progress view starts animating as expected, and its label is displaying the remaining time. However, at the very end, when the countdown reaches zero, the blue bar of the progress view doesn't reach zero and still has some progress left forever. Is this the expected behavior or a bug? Is there a way to make the bar reach zero without implementing my own custom view? Thanks in advance!

iOS 26 WKWebView renders same HTML with smaller font size [closed]
I have an iOS app that generates and renders a custom HTML document inside a UIWebView. After updating a device to iOS 26, the same HTML is rendered with noticeably smaller fonts compared to previous iOS versions. No code or HTML changes were made. Context HTML is generated dynamically and rendered in a UIWebView The HTML is embedded inside a custom XML wrapper The issue happens only on iOS 26 Earlier iOS versions render the font size correctly

Apple CDN Returning HTML Instead of JSON for AASA File – Invalid Character '<' Error (Universal Links)
We are experiencing an issue where Apple’s CDN is not fetching the updated apple-app-site-association (AASA) file correctly for our domain. Domain - app.myloft-stage.com AASA File Locations (Both Return Correct JSON): https://app.myloft-stage.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association https://app.myloft-stage.com/apple-app-site-association Both endpoints: Return HTTP 200 Return valid JSON Content-Type: application/json No redirects Valid SSL certificate JSON validated and correctly formatted Apple CDN URL - https://app-site-association.cdn-apple.com/a/v1/app.myloft-stage.com Error Returned by Apple CDN - {"cause":"invalid character '\u003c' looking for beginning of value"} This error indicates that Apple CDN is receiving HTML content (starting with <) instead of JSON, even though the origin server returns proper JSON. Observations : Direct access to AASA file returns correct JSON. Apple CDN appears to be caching an older or incorrect response. The CDN response does not match the current server response. Universal Links fail due to this incorrect AASA retrieval.

Transfer Ratings and Reviews To Another App (new bundle identifier) Within Same Developer Account
We have a legacy mobile application (bundle.identifier.1) and a new mobile application (bundle.identifier.2). They are nearly the exact same mobile app, but re-written in a new modern framework. We want to temporarily have both apps published and gracefully transition users from the old app to the new over several months so users can upgrade as they are ready. Once the legacy users are cut over, we want to transition all the legacy Ratings and Reviews to the new app. Is it possible to transfer Ratings and Reviews from the legacy app (bundle.identifier.1) to the new app (bundle.identifier.2)? I found lots of documentation on app transfers, but these are two separate apps in the same Developer Account and Account Holder. We want to have a flexible transition process but don't want to lose out on well established ratings and reviews.

In-App Purchases not loading in production / TestFlight — Previously missing Paid Apps Agreement — App rejected under Guideline 3.1.2
Hello, My app was rejected on iPad (iPad Air 11-inch M3, iPadOS 26.2.1) with two related issues: Guideline 2.1 – Performance – App Completeness “The app exhibited one or more bugs that would negatively impact users. Bug description: the premium subscription cannot be loaded properly.” Guideline 3.1.2 – Business – Payments – Subscriptions “The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions.” I am using StoreKit 2 with SubscriptionStoreView to present the auto-renewable subscription. During development: Subscriptions load correctly in the simulator (sandbox). On real devices, I test without a local StoreKit configuration file to fetch products from App Store Connect. The subscription UI (title, duration, price) displays correctly when products are returned. At the time of review, the Paid Apps Agreement was not active. I suspect this may have caused the subscription products to fail loading on the review device. Since then: Paid Apps Agreement is now Active. SubscriptionStoreView should automatically show required metadata. Because the subscription failed to load on iPad during review, the required information (title, price, duration) was not visible, which likely triggered the 3.1.2 rejection. Additionally, in TestFlight I sometimes see inconsistent behavior where the app appears but cannot be installed (“App Not Available”). Also, my app was rejected, but the subscription is still waiting for review. I would really appreciate guidance on the following: Am I potentially missing any required configuration that could prevent products from loading in production? Is there any propagation delay after activating the Paid Apps Agreement that could affect product availability? If I am overlooking something in configuration or testing, please let me know what I should specifically verify before resubmitting. Thank you very much for your help.

Password AutoFill BUG
When using the Password AutoFill feature, after entering a password and navigating to another page, a system prompt appears asking whether to save the password to the keychain (as shown in the figure). If this prompt is not dismissed and the app is moved to the background, then brought back to the foreground, the prompt automatically disappears. However, after this occurs, all input fields within the app become unresponsive to keyboard input—no keyboard will appear when tapping any text field. The only way to restore keyboard functionality is to force-quit the app and relaunch it. How can this issue be resolved?

How do i use dynamic data for my SwiftUI ScrollView without destroying performance?
Currently i am trying really hard to create experience like the Apple fitness app. So the main view is a single day and the user can swipe between days. The week would be displayed in the toolbar and provide a shortcut to scroll to the right day. I had many attempts at solving this and it can work. You can create such an interface with SwiftUI. However, changing the data on every scroll makes limiting view updates hard and additionally the updates are not related to my code directly. Instruments show me long updates, but they belong to SwiftUI and all the advice i found does not apply or help. struct ContentView: View { @State var journey = JourneyPrototype(selection: 0) @State var position: Int? = 0 var body: some View { ScrollView(.horizontal) { LazyHStack(spacing: 0) { ForEach(journey.collection, id: \.self) { index in Listing(index: index) .id(index) } } .scrollTargetLayout() } .scrollTargetBehavior(.paging) .scrollPosition(id: $position) .onChange(of: position) { oldValue, newValue in journey.selection = newValue ?? 0 journey.update() } .onScrollPhaseChange { oldPhase, newPhase in if newPhase == .idle { journey.commit() } } } } struct Listing: View { var index: Int var body: some View { List { Section { Text("Title") .font(.largeTitle) .padding() } Section { Text("\(index)") .font(.largeTitle) .padding() } Section { Text("1 ") Text("2 ") Text("3 ") Text("4 ") Text("5 ") Text("6 ") } } .containerRelativeFrame(.horizontal) } } @Observable class JourneyPrototype { var selection: Int var collection: [Int] var nextUp: [Int]? init(selection: Int) { self.selection = selection self.collection = [selection] Task { self.collection = [-2,-1,0,1,2] } } func update() { self.nextUp = [ self.selection - 2, self.selection - 1, selection, self.selection + 1, self.selection + 2 ] } func commit() { self.collection = self.nextUp ?? self.collection self.nextUp = nil } } #Preview { ContentView() } There are some major Problem with this abstracted prototype ScrollView has no good trigger for the update, because if i update on change of the position, it will update much more than once. Thats why i had to split calculation and applying the diff The LazyHStack is not optimal, because there are only 5 View in the example, but using HStack breaks the scrollPosition Each scroll updates all List, despite changing only 2 numbers in the array. AI recommended to append and remove, which does nothing about the updates. In my actual Code i do this with Identifiable data and the Problem is the same. So the data itself is not the problem? Please consider, this is just the rough prototype to explain the problem, i am aware that an array of Ints is not ideal here, but the problem is the same in Instruments and much shorter to post. Why am i posting this? Scrolling through dynamic data is required for many apps, but there is no proper solution to this online. Github and Blogs are fine with showing a progress indicator and letting the user wait, some probably perform worse than this prototype. Other solutions require UIKit like using a UIPageViewController. But even using this i run in small hitches related to layout. Important consideration, my data for the scrollview is too big to be calculated upfront. 100 years of days that are calculated for my domain logic take too long, so i have no network request, but the need to only act on a smaller window of data. Instruments shows long update for one scroll action tested on a iPhone SE 2nd generation ListRepresentable has 7 updates and takes 17ms LazySubViewPlacements has 2 updates and takes 8ms Other long updates are too verbose to include I would be very grateful for any help.

Unable to use Testflight email invite properly
I have a tester who switched phones a few months back. Crucially he no longer has access to the old phone. On his new phone when I send him a test flight invite to his apple account, 123@example, he receives it but it fails to work when he clicks the link. He is getting the following message. The Apple account (123@example) you're currently signed in with does not match the one (456@example) associated with this invitation. He has no idea what email 456 is. Since his old phone was a hand me down, I'm assuming it's someone else's email entirely. I'm trying to figure out how we clear this association out. I tried deleting his app store connect for my app and reinviting him all the way from the beginning. This did not work. As a stopgap I'm giving him a public link under an external testing group but I'd really like to not have to do that. Anyone have any ideas how we can fix this so I can shift him back to the Internal testing group?

Testing a Notarised Product
To ship a product outside of the Mac App Store, you must notarise it. The notary service issues a notarised ticket, and the ultimate consumer of that ticket is Gatekeeper. However, Gatekeeper does not just check the ticket; it also applies a variety of other checks, and it’s possible for those checks to fail even if your notarised ticket is just fine. To avoid such problems showing up in the field, test your product’s compatibility with Gatekeeper before shipping it. To do this: Set up a fresh machine, one that’s never seen your product before. If your product supports macOS 10.15.x, x < 4, the best OS version to test with is 10.15.3 [1]. Download your product in a way that quarantines it (for example, using Safari). Disconnect the machine from the network. It might make sense to skip this step. See the discussion below. Install and use your product as your users would. If the product is signed, notarised, and stapled correctly, everything should work. If not, you’ll need to investigate what’s making Gatekeeper unhappy, fix that, and then retest. For detailed advice on that topic, see Resolving Trusted Execution Problems. Run this test on a fresh machine each time. This is necessary because Gatekeeper caches information about your product and it’s not easy to reset that cache. Your best option is to do this testing on a virtual machine (VM). Take a snapshot of the VM before the first test, and then restore to that snapshot when you want to retest. Also, by using a VM you can disable networking in step 3 without disrupting other work on your machine. The reason why you should disable networking in step 3 is to test that you’ve correctly stapled the notarised ticket on to your product. If, for some reason, you’re unable to do that stapling, it’s fine to skip step 3. However, be aware that this may cause problems for a user if they try to deploy your product to a Mac that does not have access to the wider Internet. For more background on this, see The Pros and Cons of Stapling. [1] macOS 10.15.4 fixes a bug that made Gatekeeper unnecessarily strict (r. 57278824), so by testing on 10.15.3 you’re exercising the worst case. The process described above is by far the best way to test your Gatekeeper compatibility because it accurately tests how your users run your product. However, you can also run a quick, albeit less accurate test, using various command-line tools. The exact process depends on the type of product you’re trying to check: App — Run syspolicy_check like this: % syspolicy_check distribution WaffleVarnish.app This tool was introduced in macOS 14. On older systems, use the older spctl tool. Run it like this: % spctl -a -t exec -vvv WaffleVarnish.app Be aware, however, that this check is much less accurate. Disk image — Run spctl like this: % spctl -a -t open -vvv --context context:primary-signature WaffleVarnish.dmg Installer package — Run spctl like this: % spctl -a -t install -vvv WaffleVarnish.pkg Other code — Run codesign like this: % codesign -vvvv -R="notarized" --check-notarization WaffleVarnish.bundle This command requires macOS 10.15 or later. Share and Enjoy — Quinn “The Eskimo!” @ Developer Technical Support @ Apple let myEmail = "eskimo" + "1" + "@" + "apple.com" Revision history: 2024-12-05 Added instructions for using syspolicy_check. Made other minor editorial changes. 2023-10-20 Added links to Resolving Trusted Execution Problems and The Pros and Cons of Stapling. Made other minor editorial changes. 2021-02-26 Fixed the formatting. 2020-04-17 Added the section discussing spctl. 2020-03-25 First version.

How to test iap (subcription) purchase?
Hi :) I'm new to app store connect, and I just want to verify what does it take to be able to test subscription for a new app that isn't approved yet using sandbox? Or is this not possible that the app has to be approved first? More context below: My app is a new app, I only submitted for review and I linked the subscription from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page when submit it for review. It got rejected for now. When the app review status is both in-review and rejected, I've tried to test my subscription, where there is a button (like "subscribe"/"become a member") in my app that user can click on, which it calls ios's IAPProvider.startMembershipPurchase, I just get Error: [IAPService] Product not found: [<my_subscription_id>]. I ensured my subscription's product id in app store connect matches with the one in my code. I can see the "rejected" status both on my app and the subscription. So can anyone help clarify if the app has to be approved first in order to test subscription? Or am I missing any other setup? Or it might just be my code? Thanks in advance! Any info is super helpful!
