Maybe a bit of a simplistic question, but….
Best ways to create music - programmatically - within an app?
I have a few small, simple games that I would like to add some background music to. I’ve fiddled with AVAudio, SKAudio, and now AudioKit. I’m just not quite finding the holy grail of music generation. I don’t know if it’s more technique or tool.
So I thought I’d hit up the pool of minds here for some suggestions…?

Hi,
Having a weird issue that I’m noticing on Apple TVs with some apps that are by the same company. I think it’s storing residual user data if if you delete the app and all other apps relating to this. I have even tried deleting every app and reinstalling but we found two apps to be still logged in. Seams like a sandboxing bug and I presume it’s to do with App data stored in the shared app groups.
I can only reset the apple tv to remove the user data. The two apps we can see are being persistent is Binge and Kayo by streamotion.
We have tried problem solving this in every way imaginable but it’s Interesting that this is allowed to happen on an Apple platform. There is no active user logged into the apple TV with an Apple ID either
Hello All,
I would like to nominate my app for the coveted position of a “featured app.” However, it appears that I would have had to submitted the app before it went live a few weeks ago.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there another form out there to fill out the app information for submission?
Thank you for any help!

March 2025. I’ve reached a point where so much about the Apple ecosystem is broken that I have stopped caring. My lights stopped working properly in HomeKit shortly after the last update. They work in the Wiz native app but not HomeKit. Device automations are now spotting and random; bad when they are alarms. When Apple was less, it was more. I have an iPhone 12 and see no reason to upgrade. Why pay a premium for suboptimal products and services. Anyone notice that calls to Apple Support are now fielded by non-professionals? I’ve asked. Just random applicants, typing my question(s) into Safari for solutions. No idea why government is getting cut when private is t any better. Humans are on a downward slope.
There seems to be a broken USB sync and Finder recognition issue. Is there a fix to this?

How to display DeviceActivityReportScene in a widget.
When I was developing a widget, I found that DeviceActivityReportScene could not be displayed in the widget.
The Uber Driver app is able to get background location and there’s no way to turn it off from settings. Unlike other apps where there’s always an option to turn off background location from settings.
Is this a bug or special treatment for big companies?
this matters to me because we’re in a similar business but our app has to request background permissions, explicitly.
I am attaching both of the screenshots here for you to compare and see.
Please note that I verified personally that Uber Driver app is able to get background location.
been testing out ios 26 since it came out and now all of a sudden everytime it boots only into recovery and wont do anything else. recovery says no known issues found.
I download a demo from:https://applepaydemo.apple.com/wallet-extensions
And I run my WalletUIExtention,but it's failed.
This is some key in my info.plist
<key>NSExtensionMainStoryboard</key>
<string>MainInterface</string>
<key>NSExtensionPointIdentifier</key>
<string>com.apple.PassKit.issuer-provisioning.authorization</string>
<key>NSExtensionPrincipalClass</key>
<string>MyAUViewController</string>
But I found that deleting the key: NSExtendesionPrincipalClass or NSExtendeionMainStoryboard in the info.plist file can make it run.
Should I delete the key ? Whitch key ?
This is it alert:
This it's message:

I have an idea for an app for awhile (5+ years) and it took awhile (a year or more to figure out how to develop on - I know C/C++/FORTRAN, started in the punch card era). I ended up using the MacBook I had, some books and chatGPT and plunged into development. BTW this was all happening while I'm retired, included moving to FL from MD. There are times where development stops for months at a time, I've started and stopped at least four or five times on different portions of the project. I've realized that I can actually skip the user interface until the end if ever.
At the beginning of code development, I did little more that "Hello world" programs to get my feet wet. Golf, pickleball, doctor appointments, etc. interrupts development. When I get back to it, my code has "disappeared", I open Xcode, open the project and I don't see any of my code - where did it go?
I did find the code using the Finder in Directory/projname/projname/ContentView.swift (I'm not sure why projname is duplicated, no doubt my ignorance!) - so the code is still present, somewhere!

Hello Devs,
I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me.
Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?
Is anyone else having trouble posting to the forums? I can't get past form validation.

I will give some suggestions and action buttons about dynamic islands on iPhonesAfter dragging and dropping an application or file on dynamic islands, when I switch to any application or site, I can switch to that file or application by holding down the Dynamic Island As for the action button, we can assign features to the action button. A feature like this can come to it. When we press it twice, it will open the camera, when we press it once, it will open the flash. If such a feature comes, it will be easier to use

I discovered an issue where older Intel Macs (like my 2017 MacBook) enrolled in the macOS Sequoia Public Beta do not receive Ventura security updates, even though Sequoia is not compatible with the hardware.
My system said “macOS is up to date” while stuck on Ventura 13.7.1, but after switching to the Ventura Public Beta channel, it immediately showed a new update available.
This seems like a serious flaw—Apple should warn users or fall back to compatible OS versions when an enrolled beta is unsupported.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could be a widespread issue for Intel Mac users still relying on Ventura.
Bizi kaybetmeyin. Size güvenimizin boş olmadığını bizlere gösterin. Saygılarımla
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to edit the bootps.plist which is in the system / library directory. I have an M4 MacBook running OS 15.3.2 and I've held down the power button to go into recovery mode, and in terminal entered the 'csrutil disable' command and have restarted but when I go back to 'get info - Sharing & Permissions' I can't change any of the permissions. I need to be able to edit this file to create DHCP server.
How can I change edit permissions on the bootps.plist?
