Cannot update HomeBrew, due to SHA256 mismatch on --jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz download
I want to install tesseract in order to get OCR feature in ChatGPT. Tesseract install requires the use of HomeBrew on macOS But I am using macOS 15.5 and the version of HomeBrew is not compatible. When tying to install Tasseract, old version of HomeBrew is detected and HomeBrew starts updating automatically. The process goes fine until the download of the jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz component. SHA256 mismatch is detected and the update process stops. But the downloaded jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz doesn't seem to be corrupted. Maybe an error of the expected SHA256? Any help is welcome that would enable me to complete the HomeBrew update process. Many thanks in advance for your support. ------------------------------ This is what I get in Terminal: Error: Could not find an SDK that supports macOS 15.5. You may have have an outdated or incompatible CLT. Homebrew found the following SDKs in the CLT install: 10.14 10.15 Please update CLT or uninstall it if no updates are available.

WWDC26 beta cellular issues
So recently, last week, ive updated to the Dev Beta of ios 26. This began the very issue of my cellular data. I woke up to a warning symbol where my cellular bars should be, telling me there was something wrong with my antenna or carrier when in reality there was no problem with any of those problems and took up about 53% of my storage. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable.

Consideration of long-term Bluetooth behavior
It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem? I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life. How can I solve this problem? Or is the OS team working on something to block it? The test model is Iphone16Plus.

i0S26 issue with CarPlay
I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

MacBook Pro M1 - 15.5 Kernel Panic when waking from sleep
Hi, EtreCheck I could really use some help with this, as I haven’t been able to find much concrete info. I mistakenly updated my MacBook to the 15.5 beta, and while I can’t say with 100% certainty that the issues started immediately after, I’ve been experiencing consistent kernel panics every time the machine wakes from sleep — it restarts completely and throws an error. I’m really hoping this isn’t a hardware issue. The MacBook is just over two years old, and I rely on it daily for work — replacing it right now isn’t an option. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Time Machine backup to roll back to. I’ve already wiped the machine and reinstalled macOS via recovery mode, and Apple Diagnostics isn’t showing any hardware problems. Just to rule it out: I’m not using any external devices — no docks, Thunderbolt accessories, or anything else plugged in. I came across EtreCheck as a recommended tool, and I’ve included the results below. If anyone is able to help interpret them or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve since unenrolled from the beta and turned off automatic updates — I’m just hoping this is a beta-related bug that resolves with the next stable release. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Passwords app stopped working with latest update?
I updated my Macbook Pro this week, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 and now the Password app isn't working. When I log into my regularly saved sites, and I click user name, the Password app login modal pops up, but when I click it, NOTHING happens. If I manually type in my user name (which was unnecessary prior to the recent update), then SOMETIMES I get the fingerprint, but most times I don't. I am using the Chrome browser. I have attached a screenshot of the typical issue I experience.

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty.
After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

App stops responding to touch; works normally otherwise
Some users of my app complain that it stops responding to touch after a while. The screen is still updating, and the app seems to be working normally otherwise. It just doesn't respond to any touches anymore. It is not a problem with the touchscreen itself, because the user is able to swipe up to get to the home screen, and then interact with other apps as normal. When re-opening my app, it is still unresponsive to touch. The only way to solve it, is to restart the app. Does anybody have a similar experience, and knows what could cause it? The app is based on UIKit, and still written in Objective-C, if it matters. The iOS version involved does not seem to matter, it happened with a couple of them.

macos system error
Under multiple display screens (left and right screens), when a commonly used app application clicks "Window" -> "Move to..." When it comes to this, the app cannot be completely moved to the other window but instead moves to the middle of the two Windows for display. Is this a bug of the system?

Making music….
Maybe a bit of a simplistic question, but…. Best ways to create music - programmatically - within an app? I have a few small, simple games that I would like to add some background music to. I’ve fiddled with AVAudio, SKAudio, and now AudioKit. I’m just not quite finding the holy grail of music generation. I don’t know if it’s more technique or tool. So I thought I’d hit up the pool of minds here for some suggestions…?

Is It Possible to Restore Previous Browser State After openURL on iOS?
Hi Everyone, I’m currently working on a flow where a web page redirects to our app to perform certain actions, and then returns the user back to the browser. However, on iOS, the only way to go back to the browser is by using the openURL method. The issue is that this method can only open the browser app itself—it can’t control which tab or page is shown, so the user doesn’t return to the original tab they came from. The same limitation also applies to Android. Furthermore, iOS doesn’t allow an app to programmatically return to the previous app (in this case, the browser). While Android doesn’t have an official way either, in some cases, the OS automatically returns to the previous app when ours is closed. I’d like to ask: Is there any known method or workaround that allows returning from my app back to Safari (or the default browser) and restoring the previously active web page or tab? Or, is there any way to programmatically return to the previous app from within my app? Thanks in advance for your support!

Apple Developer Enrollment Delay — No Updates for 24 Days
I’m trying to register an Apple Developer Account for my company. I uploaded all the required documents, but my initial application was rejected, and I was asked to provide notarized translations of my documents. I translated them and submitted everything for review on April 1. After a week without a response, I contacted Apple Support. They replied that the documents had been received and were under review. However, as of today, April 24, my account is still under review. I’ve sent five follow-up emails to Support asking for a status update on my case, but I haven’t received any replies. Has anyone faced a similar situation and could suggest what I can do to get a status update and finally complete the registration? If anyone from Apple Support is reading this, my case number is 20000098634973 and my Enrollment ID is J34432JQFC. Thank you in advance for your help.

macOS 15.4 Beta (24E5222f) Killed My External Displays – Send Help (or an Exorcist)
For 9 Glorious Months, My MacBook Pro & J5 Create JCD543 HUB Were Best Friends… Until I Updated macOS For nearly a year, my MacBook Pro 14” (2023, M2 Pro, 16GB RAM) worked flawlessly with my J5 Create JCD543 HUB, allowing me to run: ✅ 4 External Displays (Samsung, LG, Insignia, Samsung) A setup that worked perfectly… until I updated macOS. Then Came the Update… and the Issues Began First, I updated last week. Two of my four displays stopped working. No big deal, I thought—I’ve dealt with display quirks before. Then, like an optimist ignoring red flags, I updated again last night to 15.4 Beta (24E5222f) and… well, now things are completely broken. My Once-Perfect Setup (Now a Display Disaster) JCD543 HUB → 2 HDMI displays (not working) JUD380 HUB → 1 HDMI display (partially working, unstable) MacBook HDMI port → 1 HDMI display (working, but feeling abandoned) JCA365 USB-C to Dual HDMI Adapter (Not part of my setup, but tested—also not working) What I’ve Tried (aka My Troubleshooting Journey) ✔ Restarted my Mac multiple times ✔ Uninstalled and reinstalled J5 drivers ✔ Swapped cables, unplugged/replugged everything, tested known-working HDMI cables (they work fine on other devices) ✔ Deleted /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.displays.plist (this fixed a similar issue in the past, but the file no longer exists in this update) The Likely Culprit? It seems to be a J5 driver issue triggered by the macOS update—and I’m not alone. Others are reporting similar problems. Apple… Any Fixes? I just want my four screens back. The setup worked flawlessly for 9 months, so it’s hard to believe it was never meant to work. If anyone has a workaround, I’m open to testing any solution—whether it’s a driver update, system tweak, or hidden macOS setting that might bring my displays back to life. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. (P.S. Apple, if you’re reading this—please look into this issue!)
