File/folder Permissions Issues
Currently running 15.5 Beta 3 on a Mac Studio M4. I am unable to read/write to my Home folder from most of my applications. I receive an error basically saying I do not have access rights to the file/folder. If I go to the file directly and open it, it works. I have repaired disk permissions, checked the Sharing & Permissions settings via Get Info, and finally called Apple. Of course, since I am running the beta, the support was quite limited. I will add that I am also unable to open .dmgs that have been downloaded to my Downloads folder. I receive the "The disk image couldn’t be opened. The operation couldn’t be completed. Operation not permitted" error. If I copy the .dmg to another drive, I can open it from there.

No Connection To Mobile Data
I installed the new developer beta 26 yesterday, but since that I only have problems with my iPhone. Besides not being able to update the software bc an error appears, I also don‘t have the abbility to use mobile data. If I try to, it only says „could not activate mobile data network“. I already tried to restart the phone, to reset it or to take the SIM out and in

No such module 'UnityFramework' ,Getting this message updating Xcode to latest version
After the update of the Xcode to latest version, I’m getting “No Such Module Unity Framework” as error. the complete information is below. I had to update the Xcode and the O.S as per the Apple Requirement from my older version of 14.x to latest 16.3. I had no issued running the Unity within my iOS App till the recent update. Previous Setup: Unity was successfully integrated into this iOS app and running fine before the update. As it was working till the Xcode version 14.3, i have not changed any code relevant to Unity. What I’ve Tried: a. Added UnityFramework.framework to “Link Binary with Libraries” and marked it as “Embed & Sign”. b. Verified Framework Search Paths include $(PROJECT_DIR)/UnityProject/build/Debug-iphoneos c. Cleaned build folder, deleted Derived Data d. Checked [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks step in Build Phases Stuck On: Xcode still throws "No such module 'UnityFramework'" — it’s as if the framework isn’t being built or seen from my main project. Request for Help: Has anyone encountered this issue post-Xcode 16.3 update from 14.x. I’d really appreciate any guidance, updated workflows, or even a checklist of steps for properly integrating Unity into an existing iOS app with the new Xcode build system.

CarPlay Turn-By-Turn Entitlements
Hello Devs, I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me. Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?

RxSwift Driver got fatal error in Swift Testing because it is not called form main thread.
Hi, I'm trying the new Swift Testing instead of XCTest for my new project. I am using RxSwift+UIKit. And when I am trying to test my ViewModel that has a Driver in it, it crashes due to the driver is not being called form main thread. Thread 5: Fatal error: `drive*` family of methods can be only called from `MainThread`. Beta Channel Setting Prevents Ventura Security Updates on Older Macs
I discovered an issue where older Intel Macs (like my 2017 MacBook) enrolled in the macOS Sequoia Public Beta do not receive Ventura security updates, even though Sequoia is not compatible with the hardware. My system said “macOS is up to date” while stuck on Ventura 13.7.1, but after switching to the Ventura Public Beta channel, it immediately showed a new update available. This seems like a serious flaw—Apple should warn users or fall back to compatible OS versions when an enrolled beta is unsupported. Has anyone else experienced this? Could be a widespread issue for Intel Mac users still relying on Ventura.

How to request several models simultaneously
I am using HelloPhotogrammetry in Xcode I can make one model with something like HelloPhotogrammetry.main([path_to_folder_of images, path_to_output/model.usdz, "-d", "medium", "-o", "unordered", "-f", "high" ]) But how would I request several models simultaneously? I only want to vary the detail. MDM Behind Nginx SSL Cert Issue
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx. I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1. Help accessing audio input from Mac
Hello there, I am a casual game modder for a game called Vintage Story and I had a question about accessing audio input from a Mac. Some other modders in my community developed a proximity chat system that allows players to hear one another via microphone while in physical proximity within the game. It apparently works very well on Windows but unfortunately they don’t seem to know how to get the mod to receive audio input from a Mac. I spoke with them and they are looking for some Mac devs who might be able to help them. Would anyone here be able to shed light on this or know any Mac devs who could?

Skip the "Do you want to open ?" Modal
We have an Angular web application which gets installed as a webclip on client iPads. The web application has buttons that will take the user directly to our native iOS application. We also would like a way for our webclip application when opened to perform some data lookups and if certain conditions are met, then take the user directly to our native iOS app. We're using vanilla JS window.open. This works well when the user manually taps button. However, this does not work when the webclip application tries to open the native iOS app without user interaction. In that case the window.open does nothing. The window.open target URL is the exact same in both cases. We tried using URL Schemes instead of Universal Links but with this the iPad displays a modal asking "Do you want to open ?". For our use case, this is unacceptable. Is there any way for us to skip this prompt? We'd like there to be no additional action needed from the user to be able to get from webclip to native iOS app beyond simply opening the webclip.

Alternate App Icon Change Does Not Reflect in Notification Center on iOS 18.1+
When changing the app's alternate icon using UIApplication.setAlternateIconName(_:completionHandler:), the icon is updated correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. However, in Notification Center, the old app icon is still shown for notifications, even after the change has completed. Rebooting or change the device's language causes the correct icon to appear. This issue only occurs on iOS 18.1 and later. In iOS 18.0 and earlier, Notification Center correctly reflects the updated icon. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?
