Internet Sharing Wi-Fi starts as open network despite WPA2/WPA3 password configuration
On recent versions of macOS (including current betas), when enabling Internet Sharing from Ethernet to Wi-Fi, the configured WPA2/WPA3 password is ignored and the shared network is broadcast as an open (unsecured) network. Steps to Reproduce: Connect Mac to Ethernet via USB/LAN adapter Go to System Settings > General > Sharing > Internet Sharing Set up Wi-Fi options with a valid WPA2/WPA3 password Enable Internet Sharing Expected Behavior: Devices should see a password-protected Wi-Fi network with a lock icon and require authentication. Actual Behavior: The network appears unsecured (no lock icon) Devices like iPhone connect without entering a password This can be verified immediately from iOS Wi-Fi settings Additional Notes: Reproducible across macOS 15.5 RC and 16.0,26.0 Developer Beta Feedback has been submitted via Feedback Assistant multiple times This is a serious security risk if used in public or shared environments Has anyone else experienced this? Any known workarounds besides terminal-level defaults or Plist edits? Thanks in advance!

Issue with App Store Server Notifications V2 - Notification Ordering Problem
We are currently listening to App Store Server Notifications V2 and have encountered an issue with notification ordering. Specifically, there are instances where Apple sends the DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_STATUS notification before the INITIAL_BUY notification. This leads to a situation where we are unable to process the cancellation of a transaction that is unknown to us at the time of the renewal status change. Could you please clarify why this occurs? If this is a bug, could you kindly address it and implement a fix? Below, I have included examples that illustrate the issue. i0S26 issue with CarPlay
I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

macOS 26 Beta 1 on MacPro7,1 – WindowServer crash when opening Finder
I’m running macOS 26 Beta 1 (build 25A5279m) on a 2019 Mac Pro (MacPro7,1) with a single 4K display connected via HDMI. Whenever I attempt to launch Finder, WindowServer immediately aborts and the machine reboots. Crash details: Process: WindowServer (PID 1441) Exception: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) triggered in thread 0 (ws_main_thread) Termination Reason: Abort trap: 6 Backtrace highlights: CA::OGL::MetalContext::draw(MTLPrimitiveType, …) hits an internal __assert_rtn in libsystem_c.dylib Subsequent calls all stem from QuartzCore’s OpenGL/Metal bridge (CA::OGL::render_layers, LayerNode::apply, etc.) Related threads: Thread 2 (com.apple.coreanimation.render-server) idle in mach_msg_overwrite Thread 1 shows AmbientDisplay and ColorSync callbacks running Hardware/Software: MacPro7,1 (2019) macOS 26.0 Beta 1 (25A5279m) 4K monitor via HDMI System Integrity Protection enabled What I’ve tried so far: Safe-boot (crash still occurs) Switching display profiles in System Settings → Displays → Color (no effect) Happy to provide any additional logs or verbose console output. Let me know if there’s any other data that would help diagnose the Metal/OpenGL integration issue in this beta.

How to request several models simultaneously
I am using HelloPhotogrammetry in Xcode I can make one model with something like HelloPhotogrammetry.main([path_to_folder_of images, path_to_output/model.usdz, "-d", "medium", "-o", "unordered", "-f", "high" ]) But how would I request several models simultaneously? I only want to vary the detail. [ ("/Users/you/Desktop/model_medium.usdz", detail: .medium), ("/Users/you/Desktop/model_full.usdz", detail: .full), ("/Users/you/Desktop/model_raw.usdz", detail: .raw ]

Beta Channel Setting Prevents Ventura Security Updates on Older Macs
I discovered an issue where older Intel Macs (like my 2017 MacBook) enrolled in the macOS Sequoia Public Beta do not receive Ventura security updates, even though Sequoia is not compatible with the hardware. My system said “macOS is up to date” while stuck on Ventura 13.7.1, but after switching to the Ventura Public Beta channel, it immediately showed a new update available. This seems like a serious flaw—Apple should warn users or fall back to compatible OS versions when an enrolled beta is unsupported. Has anyone else experienced this? Could be a widespread issue for Intel Mac users still relying on Ventura.

DeviceActivityEvent will still execute even if the app is not in use
I use DeviceActivityCenter to monitor app usage. Plugin/Module deployment support in App Store
Our app provides configuration and maintenance features for Siemens electrical devices. The app supports multiple devices and the devices have their own specific features, which also need to be supported by our App. The devices can be released to the market only when our app supports those features. Our app release timeline is once in every 4 months. We face a challenge when some of these devices are not able to deliver their features by our release time. So, we would like to make these devices plugins, which can be independently released, without releasing the App every time. The app would, of course, be released once in every 4 months, depending on the common features. I'm not able to find how to release only the plugins within the app, without releasing the entire app. Some one has suggested app extensions, but that does not fit our solution as in some cases, we need continuous polling of data from one or mode devices for minutes or hours, as the app can be used by the user to monitor some of the device values.

Photo album videos and sound issues
Is anyone aware of a issue with the videos of you replaying a video you took then swip up the sound is still being played when you open another video it doubles to the first video if you open a third video and so on it just keeps adding the sound of all the other videos you open and swip up to change to a different video all videos sound is being played and doubled over The videos o was hoping they would be a fix on iOS 26 beta 4 but so far nothing has fixed the issue. You have to close the entire photo library and swip up to force close the phot video gallery for the recording sounds playing to stop??

CarPlay music sound output from iPhone after enabled Enhanced Siri
With CarPlay communication plugin R18.1, I followed these steps to integrate Enhance siri, the music sound was output from carplay and there is no option for output to Car. ============================================ Enhanced Siri Declare supported audioFormats for the AuxIn and AuxOut streams Since the AuxIn and AuxOut streams for Siri do not have to be both active at the same time, the accessory must claim audio formats support for AuxIn Audio and AuxOut audio independently. The audio formats for each stream can differ from each other (48KHz for AuxOut and 16KHz for AuxIn). The new audio types represent these new streams - AuxIn/speechRecognition & AuxOut/speechRecognition. Check if connected device supports the feature AirPlayReceiverSessionHasFeatureEnhancedSiri() Claim support in the Setup Response message if device supports the feature Add kAirPlayKeyAccessoryEnabledFeature_EnhancedSiri key through the AirPlayReceiverServer delegate AirPlayReceiverServerCopyProperty_f function for the kAirPlayKey_AccessoryEnabledFeatures key. Helper function: CFArrayAppendValue() Add Enhanced Siri parameters dictionary in the INFO message Add dictionary through the AirPlayReceiverServer delegate AirPlayReceiverServerCopyProperty_f function for the kAirPlayKey_EnhancedSiriInfo key. kAirPlayKey_EnhancedSiriInfo dictionary parameters: Voice activation of Siri - kAirPlayKey_EnhancedSiriVoice Current language of voice model - kAirPlayKey_VoiceModelCurrentLanguage Supported languages of voice model - kAirPlayKey_VoiceModelSupportedLanguages Enhanced Button activation of Siri - kAirPlayKey_EnhancedSiriButton Supported zone(s) if any - kAirPlayKey_SupportedSiriTriggerZones Update AudioStream Get state of the AuxIn state by providing an implementation of AudioStreamUpdateState() - Off, local buffering, or streaming to device. Decouple input streams from output streams. AuxIn is an independent input stream only. The property kAudioStreamProperty_Direction will provide the necessary information if the stream is input, output or input & output. Provide a handler for the AirPlayReceiverSessionDelegate setEnhancedSiriParams_f This will provide additional information: Activation type Setting the language of the voice model Invoke the Communication Plugin to start buffering Once the activation type has been specified, the accessory can request the plugin to start buffering using AirPlayReceiverSessionAuxInStart(). Use the new APIs to trigger Siri: AirPlayReceiverSessionRequestSiriActionWithLatency() AirPlayReceiverSessionRequestSiriVoiceActivationWithLatency() AirPlayReceiverSessionRequestSiriVoiceActivationWithSample() Button presses and voice activations should use this new APIs which adds a timestamp of the activation. These APIs allow a choice of a latency or a sample for button and voice activations. If there is a delay between the user pressing the button to notifying the device on the button press, this latency value should represent this time. If the accessory can determine which zone activated, it can provide the zone with the request. Invoke the Communication Plugin to stop buffering You may need to invoke the plugin to stop buffering (AirPlayReceiverSessionAuxInStop()) if exclusive access to the microphone is necessary. Such instances may include but not limited to: Native voice recognition session Telephony Another stream function which uses the microphone starts modesChanged notification can be used to determine if a resource is being used Note, if the session ends, the plugin will automatically stop buffering

iOS 26 Beta 3 In App Purchase bug
So here is my issue regarding iOS 26 Beta 3. I was playing a game called BangBang Survivor, while inside the game there is an option to make the game ad free with a monthly subscription. Somehow i found that it doesnt work anymore on Beta 3. When I clicked renew subcription, it shows “This Purchase has already been bought. It will restored for free” and I found that buying diamonds actually working, except those ad free subscription was not working. I contacted game dev for this issue, they cant seems to solve anything and asked me to contact Apple Support. But Apple Support doesnt solve the issue as well and asked me to contact the game dev. I guess i will need to wait for next update to see whether this issue will finally solve or not.

Apps in Library disappear
before like 15 mins ago, i was watching something on Instagram and back to Library to open Discord App when all my applications was gone from Library until i restarted my phone and everything was back, maybe it’s a bug or something. IOS 26 Beta 3

How to generate test Driver's License in Wallet?
Hello, I'm interested in testing the Digital Credentials API in Safari on iOS, but am not sure if there's a way to create a test Driver's License in the Wallet on a real device or Simulator? Unfortunately the state I live in does not have mobile ids set up yet with Apple so can't use my own driver's license. Any help would be much appreciated!

CoreLocation Limit?
Dear team, I am reaching out to inquire about potential daily usage limits for the CoreLocation geocoding services. While I understand that there is a known limit of approximately 50 requests per minute, I have received information suggesting there may also be a daily cap of 25,000 requests. Could you please confirm whether such a daily limit exists? Additionally, I would appreciate any recommendations you might have for increasing the allowable number of daily geocoding requests, if possible. Thank you in advance for your support.

I’m running iOS 26 Developer Beta 2 on my iPhone 13 Pro and it’s not letting me call anyone on it you should fi that with the next beta of iOS 26 and every one of the iOS 26 beta updates after that even when you release the up iOS 26 later this fall
