I have an iPhone 12 mini and I am currently using it as a modem for my router. Previously it was running iOS 14, but the DHCP on iOS 14 doesn't work and Apple didn't fix it until iOS 15. Recently I upgraded the system to iOS 18.4 to get DHCP back, but I got a bigger problem. The iPhone will restart itself after 3 days, and then I just lost internet connection. The hotspot will not be turned on until I climbed on my bookshelf to unlock my phone. After I googled it, I found that it is a feature that Apple introduced in iOS 18.1. While I couldn't find any setting to turn it off. If this cannot be controlled by the user, then it is anyway a BUG than a feature.

Based a quick research, comfort and fit, noise cancellation issues and durability seems to be the most consistent issues with pilot headsets. I wouldn’t say there is a problem here, because you can easily throw out the faulty headset and spend another $1000 on a new one. However, what if apple can profit by introducing their version of pilot headsets? Besides, most airlines use Apple iPads for Navigation, crew scheduling etc. Make it a one stop shop. Apple already has the framework for music headsets, why not use it as a base for pilot headsets? Disrupt an already stagnant market and give pilots a great alternative. Tap into the interests of a new generation of pilots again most which already uses Apple products. Come up with a new fresh look of ‘pilot comms.’ A good idea is to pitch to the GA (general aviation) industry maybe include Apple headsets with the purchase of a new aircraft.

The last couple of days ago, I tried to taste iOS 26. It’s a really awesome experience as an iOS user. But there were some issues that appeared when I was playing the games. So I downgraded to iOS 18.5. My phone is 13, and I checked my model number and downloaded 18.5 firmware from Apple user's well-known website and carefully making the downgrading process. After hours later I already got back 18.5, and I confess, the user experience is very different between iOS 26 and 18.5. The main problem is there, when I make phone calls with my friends and I notice my recent call history is empty. So I try to fix it the ways from YouTube videos. It doesn’t work. I tried to change the region and restart my phone. It doesn’t work, and I tried to syns with iCloud also doesn’t work. If you are facing an issue like mine, please kindly share the experience and how to fix it! Kindly see the attached photos. The notification appears as shown, but when I check the recent calls, there is no data available.

Is it normal to wait a month and a half with no resolution to an account issue? I paid for a membership years ago and never used it. Recently, I've wanted to get a developer account again but there is a problem when I try to Enroll. It tells me "You cannot enroll at this time". I created a support ticket and have been checking in every couple weeks. They just keep saying they haven't heard anything. The lack of support is dissappointing.

While on ios26 beta2 i changed my battery for an aftermarket one. Phone cannot be charged anymore, battery status 1%. So it reboots. had to replace oem battery to make local backup, to revert to ios18. and have aftermarket battery to work again.

I use other computer ssh to the mac, but return connection reset. I can't solve this problem.

I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type. Setup: Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar" Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins. Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents. Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform. iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed. I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets. Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

Hi, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 26.0 (beta). After installing the update, I get a message stating that I need to update my Apple account settings. When I log in, it freezes and nothing can be done. I also can't access the login and security settings, as it also freezes and won't progress. Also, the option to install beta versions has disappeared. I don't know why? Could it be that since I have the latest beta, the option disappears until a new update? Please help!

Issue with Heart Rate Graph from Apple Watch in iOS App Hello Community! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm developing an iOS app that includes a feature to display a graph of the heart rate recorded during a route using the Apple Watch. Current Implementation I have successfully implemented data collection and transfer from the Apple Watch to the iPhone. The app's main UI correctly displays the user's real-time BPM. When the user stops the route, an analysis view is generated, showing speed and altitude (both work perfectly). Expected Behavior The user starts recording a route while monitoring heart rate. After tapping "Stop Route," an analysis view should display a heart rate graph along with speed and altitude data. Issue Encountered Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to properly generate the heart rate graph. The only result I have achieved so far is a flat line with points representing the recorded BPM over time, instead of a proper graph. Request for Help If anyone has experience implementing a similar feature, I would appreciate any guidance on correcting my implementation. I can share: The file responsible for graph visualization. The file handling data processing after the user stops the route. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! This is my first problem and my first question hopefully somebody can help or give me some suggestions. I was in the developr beta of IOS 26 build(235260n) for a while I haven't updated it since the new beat has came out, beta 3. I have been trying to update requested, after about 20 seconds it goes away but does not start the download the update. The problem also begins to download something into the system beta goes from 22.85 GB to 33.78 GB. It just holds the update but doesn't;t update the phone. I have tried power cycling the device and everytime I do that it just resets the system data and allows up to try the update again. Unsure what to do and don't know if I would need to wait for the public beta for IOS26 to change anything on the device. Please let me know if you guys have any more suggestions what should be the next step. I also was unsure if I should backup the device and reinstall it to make sure that its not something with the conncetion.

what else can you do with it except for getting the alarm run off? and the alarm even gets dismissed when the user presses any buttons on device even volume buttons. I hope it's better by the time when iOS26 is officially released but I can't prepare for the new iOS update with this useless new framework. does anybody know what new features in this framework are coming up?
