I've been testing the offer code feature for my non consumable in app purchase using a sandbox account, with sandbox offer codes and in the sandbox environment. However, the codes don't appear to work despite everything being in the sandbox.
Any idea what I'm missing?

I want to add in-app purchasing to my app, but I can't figure out what part of my workflow is wrong.
I created a product for my app in iTunes Connect (the product ID is com.mycompany.products.***) and it's in "Ready to submit" status.
I created a sandbox test user for this app.
I connected to iTunes on a real device using the sandbox AppleID.
I went back to XCode and added in-app purchasing to my app.
I turned on developer mode on the real device and logged in as the sandbox user.
I built the app and ran it on a real device (not the simulator).
I tried to get product information (com.mycompany.products.***) but nothing was returned.
In-app purchasing is registered in App Store Connect and the status is "Ready to submit".
The code only retrieves product information in a simple way, so I don't think there's a problem.
inAppPurchase.getProducts(["com.mycompany.products.***"]).then(console.log).catch(console.error);
But it only returns an empty array.
What could be wrong?
Any help would be much appreciated.
The documentation mentions the following:
Verify your receipt first with the production URL; then verify with the sandbox URL if you receive a 21007 status code. This approach ensures you don’t have to switch between URLs while your app is in testing, in review by App Review, or live in the App Store.
This way, you can use one server environment to handle both Sandbox and Production environments. It is necessary to pass App Review.
However, I'm not manually hitting these URLs - I'm using Apple's libraries.
Specifically, the environment is used in SignedDataVerifier and AppStoreServerAPIClient.
(I can't link to these because, for some reason, the domain apple.github.io is not allowed. The documentation for these is only found there. You can find it quickly by searching these terms and the domain.)
Here is how SignedDataVerifier is being used:
const verifier = new SignedDataVerifier(
appleRootCertificates,
APPLE_ENABLE_ONLINE_CHECKS,
APPLE_ENVIRONMENT,
APPLE_BUNDLE_ID,
APPLE_APP_ID
)
const verifiedNotification: ResponseBodyV2DecodedPayload = await verifier.verifyAndDecodeNotification(signedPayload)
if (!verifiedNotification)
{
// Failure
return
}
Here is how AppStoreServerAPIClient is being used:
const appStoreServerAPIClient = new AppStoreServerAPIClient(
SIGNING_KEY,
APPLE_IAP_KEY_ID,
APPLE_IAP_ISSUER_ID,
APPLE_BUNDLE_ID,
APPLE_ENVIRONMENT
)
const statusResponse: StatusResponse = await appStoreServerAPIClient.getAllSubscriptionStatuses(originalTransactionId, [Status.ACTIVE])
In the source code for SignedDataVerifier.verifyAndDecodeNotification, I can see that it throws a VerificationException(VerificationStatus.INVALID_ENVIRONMENT) error .
So for SignedDataVerifier is it as simple as wrapping my code in a try/catch and checking that the error's status code is 21007? I'm unsure about this because if you scroll to the bottom of the linked source code file, you can see the enumeration VerificationStatus, but it's unclear if this member has a value of 21007.
The source code for AppStoreServerAPIClient only says that it throws an APIException if a response could not be processed, so I'm not too sure about how to handle this one.
I am shown as being subscribed to our service in the Subscriptions list in settings yet when going to the Storekit2 page in my app it shows me as NOT being subscribed and is unresponsive. I select Restore Subscription, that grays briefly, asks for a password, then returns to blue and nothing else happens. Bouncing back and forth between monthly and yearly likewise gives no response.
The Transaction.currentEntitlements seems to be empty so it thinks the user is not subscribed.
I have unsubscribed, and resubscribed via the Settings page to no avail.

Hi there 👋🏻
We are facing an issue that started on 24 June 2025 where some users that have an active subscription with an offer are not being able to use/restore their subscription since Transaction.currentEntitlements is empty.
We have tried to call the server with this endpoint https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/get-transaction-history and it's returning the correct transactions correctly.
Any idea what is happening?
Hey!
We're implementing In-App Purchase Subscriptions and we were able to receive "App Store Server Notifications" on our "Sandbox Server URL".
But the last event we received 22 hours ago. We are able to verify transactions and finish them, but receive no webhooks.
We changed nothing on our server or its configurations but the notifications stoped to come.
We consulted the API (https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/history) and it says the same as we see - the last event was 22hrs ago.
I checked all the advices from here as well (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/805806?answerId=864483022#864483022).
Is there any Status page for the Store Kit Sandbox services? Was there any outage?
Sincerely,
Konstantin

One of our apps has 85% stuck in Billing Retry -- We are so confused. All the users are from the US, and have a one-week free trial.
We had 1,000 subscriptions expire from this issue.
So any help would be so appreciated.

I has sandbox account with Japanese local. When i build app directly to check, price is displayed in Japanese Currency. But when I install app from the Test Flight, price is always displayed in USD Currency.
the issue is appear in iOS 18.5
How can i fix this issue ?
Looking to update one of my apps that uses SKStoreReviewController +requestReview (deprecated) to
AppStore.requestReview(in:)
umm...I have a few of questions...
Why is an NSViewController parameter required? It's really not so uncommon for an AppKit app to just use NSWindowController with a window that does not use NSViewController...
It should be possible to present the review request in a standalone alert (attached to a window is preferred IMO but it still should be possible to ask in separate window).
3)...why Swift..(err nevermind)
Ideally:
AppStore requestReview should take a NSWindow parameter but that parameter should be optional. If nil the request should be presented in a standalone window (like an alert). If non nil..present as a sheet on the window.
Why a view controller? Maybe I'm missing something.
We are experiencing a critical issue where StoreKit 2 is returning empty products when using Product.products(for:), specifically on devices running iOS 18.4.
This issue does not occur on iOS 18.3 or earlier.
Steps:
Created a subscription product (e.g. "upm1") in App Store Connect
Confirmed the product is active, localised, and part of a valid subscription group
Call the following Swift code using StoreKit 2:
Task {
do {
let products = try await Product.products(for: ["upm1"])
print(products)
} catch {
print("Error: (error)")
}
}
4. Result: products is an empty list.
This regression is blocking subscription testing on iOS 18.4.
Kindly someone please advise on a potential fix or workaround.
We got Advanced Commerce API and the generic product identifiers approved. When I was try to migrate a sandbox subscription to ACA enabled subscription I hit an error

Regarding App Store Server Notifications V2,we are currently using Notifications V2 in a production environment.
It is set up so that if the server receives the notification successfully, it returns 200 after about 30 seconds, and if an error occurs, it returns 400 or 500.
However, the notification is being resent multiple times from Apple's server, at 1 hour, 12 hours, and 24 hours.
Is it necessary to return the notification using Apple's API?

Background
We sell a suite of iPadOS/macOS apps that share a single auto-renewable subscription using this architecture.
Per “Offering a Subscription Across Multiple Apps” we require users to sign in before purchasing so we can propagate the entitlement and avoid duplicate subscriptions across apps.
To enforce that sign-in step we plan to turn off Streamlined Purchasing in App Store Connect.
Question
We also want to distribute subscription offer codes (for promotion, retention, appeasing dissatisfied customers, etc.).
After Streamlined Purchasing is turned off, will customers still be able to redeem offer codes outside the app (App Store “Redeem Code” UI or redemption URL)?
If outside-app redemption remains possible, it bypasses our sign-in gate and could let the same customer buy the suite twice (once via each app).
Is there an approved method to limit offer-code redemption to the in-app flow only, or otherwise prevent such duplicate subscriptions?
If no such limitation exists, what best-practice workaround does Apple recommend for multi-app suites that must turn off Streamlined Purchasing yet still wish to use offer codes without duplication risk?
Environment
StoreKit 2; server-side receipt validation & cross-app entitlement propagation.
Apps support the in-app presentCodeRedemptionSheet flow.
We expect to use both one-time-use and custom offer codes.
Background:
My app uses a third-party SDK for payments, and it uses Original StoreKit internally for IAP payments. Now I'm getting ready to migrate to StoreKit2, and during the transition, users may use either method to initiate payments, and there's no way to avoid the coexistence of StoreKit2 and Original StoreKit.
Problem:
When a user has an unfinished transaction, if the app is restarted, both StoreKit2 and Original StoreKit will receive a notification of the transaction:
Original StoreKit's '-paymentQueue:updatedTransactions:' method
StoreKit2's 'Transaction.updated' method
resulting in duplicate calls to the shipping API.
My current treatment is to only add '-paymentQueue:updatedTransactions:' to listen for unfinished transactions. Even if the user is using StoreKit2 to initiate the payment, if the transaction is not Finished, it will be fetched via this method after restarting the app to process this transaction.
Is this approach feasible and are there any best practices for this scenario?
To summarize:
Is it feasible to fetch unfinished StoreKit2 transactions via Original StoreKit methods when StoreKit2 coexists with Original StoreKit? Is there a recommended way
Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue where StoreKit is returning 0 products from the App Store, even though my auto-renewable subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect.
When calling queryProductDetails using Flutter’s in_app_purchase package (which uses StoreKit under the hood), StoreKit reports success but returns an empty list.
The logs show the following error:
IAPError(code: storekit_no_response, source: app_store, message: "StoreKit: Failed to get response from platform.")
InAppPurchase.isAvailable() returns true, but no product details are received.
Already verified:
• Subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect
• Product identifiers in the app match those in App Store Connect exactly
• In-App Purchase capability is enabled in Xcode
• Paid Applications Agreement, banking, and tax details are active and complete
• Using the latest version of the Flutter in_app_purchase package
StoreKit should normally return the list of available products in the production environment, but it consistently returns an empty array along with the “storekit_no_response” error.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or found any potential causes for StoreKit failing to return products in the production environment? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I use [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] restoreCompletedTransactions]. Works on my App which is in the store (compiled pre-iOS 26).
If I compile the same App now, same codebase with Xcode Version 26.0, restore does not work. Nothing happens. Tested on real device (iOS 26).
Documentation says its deprecated, but my deployment target is iOS 12.
Anyone has similar issues? Any recommendations?

Hi All,
We are developing our app with an approved External Link Account Entitlement.
During the development process (such as installing from Xcode or creating an Ad-hoc build and installing it on a phone), the open() function of the External Link Account API displays the modal our native language. The app only localized to that language.
However, after uploading the app with the same configuration to TestFlight, the modal somehow appears in English instead.
What could be causing this issue with the External Link Account modal? How can the open() function display the modal in another language when installed from Xcode or an Ad-hoc release build, but in English when installed from TestFlight? How can we show only our native lanugage version only to our Users?
Thank you in advance
Hello Developer support, In one of our live application we have seen that users are purchasing weekly subscription and automatically they shifted to yearly product. Due to this we have received high revenue and also refunds afterwards. To prevent this we removed our yearly product from the sale. In App Store Connect we have seen activations for weekly product and convert to standard prices are yearly products. Also we have seen weird behavior of user getting trial for same product for three times. For developer support people I am sharing my app id - 1320373866 , and here is the video of our issue - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DBHw8ivgql4eNoo8NC3xo5v4wgr8Oh7x/view?usp=sharing , Also attaching trial behavior screenshot.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been receiving App Store Server Notifications (webhooks) normally for a specific transaction. Everything was working fine — I could use the original_transaction_id to query transaction history, and transaction_id to look up specific transactions.
However, starting recently, all API calls for that transaction (both Get Transaction Info and Get Transaction History) now return not found.
• The webhooks used to arrive normally for this transaction.
• I am sure I’m querying the correct environment (production vs sandbox).
• The IDs I’m using are exactly the ones from the last webhook payload.
• I haven’t changed my integration code.
My questions:
1. Under what conditions does Apple’s API return “not found” for original_transaction_id that previously worked?
2. Can Apple actually purge transaction records (in production)?
3. Could this happen due to refunds, revocations, or other account actions?
4. Is this expected behavior, or should I file a DTS (Technical Support Incident)?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Unsure if this has been reported before, but I'm seeing a specific scenario where Apple is sending back faulty information in App Store Server Notifications.
When users have payment failures that result in the membership expiring, and then reactivate later on with a different subscription, they are given a new originalTransactionId, yet we have three cases where we receive messages about the old originalTransactionId, indicating that after the user recovers their subscription, Apple is resurrecting the old subscription and treating it as if it is active BUT ultimately decides to deactivate it.
Here is a sample screenshot of an impacted user. We only have three month and annual plans.
Timeline:
March 21st:
This user signed up for a 3 Month Plan
June 21st:
This user fails to pay
July 7th:
After our 16 day grace period, this user loses access
July 29th:
This user sees they lost access and repurchase
Augsut 19th:
Their membership is deactivated (long before their 3 Month Subscription is up)
For further verification I've also attached a record of all the payloads we've received from Apple for this user.
Please let me know if you need any more details to fix this bug OR if it has already been fixed! Thank you.
