I am unable to connect to APNs sandbox push endpoint from our backend servers. It works fine when hitting the request from my local machine but it fails from the infra servers. Here are the complete curl details.

For Carplay we implemented siri.

Here SenderID is like 3000@abc,2000@abc etc.
In siri ,When we handle INSearchForMessagesIntent at that time all data getting from Userdefaults because without Userdefaults INSearchForMessagesIntent value nil.
Even we enabled announcement using .allowAnnouncement.
We also tried to save same sender in contact Book because sometime siri search contact and not found then may be raise this type of issue.
So we need code level support for read incoming message in carplay when notification comes.

1. Is there any documented interval/TTL (min/max) for the system’s automatic refresh of /config and PIR parameters, or is it entirely opportunistic (battery/network/usage)? I can’t find a cadence in the IdentityLookup docs.
2. Does iOS honor server cache headers (e.g., Cache-Control/Expires) to influence when it re-fetches?
3. Which events also trigger a refresh (enable/disable in Settings, OS/app update, device reboot, token/epoch change)?
4. Are there rate limits or best-practice limits for calling refreshExtensionContext and refreshPIRParameters?

i hava a app using Gateway.push.apple.com to push Notifications,but it is not working sine last month, i test the api show push Notifications success but my device can't receive the Notifications ,is this api not working anymore ? but why the api show push Notifications success ?
If there is a Notification Service Extension which has the com.apple.developer.usernotifications.filtering entitlement, then does/how having that entitlement affect the preconditions for the NSE to be delivered a push?
Specifically, if the app has not prompted for requestAuthorization() is it expected that the push will be delivered to the NSE or not?

During WWDC24 you announced that ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification is available on the sandbox environment and will be available "it will be available in production later this year" - it's March 2025 and there is still no production release of this feature.
Could you share some timeline and plans for when we can expect that feature deployed to production?

In iOS 26, I can check the notification that arrives to the user when the AirPods or Apple Watch is fully charged. When tap the notification, notification only expands and does not include actions such as moving to an app.
I checked the documents of UserNotification and UNNotificationServiceExtension, but I couldn't find what I wanted.
I can expand by long-tapping as default, but I'm looking for a way to expand it without entering the app when I tap the notification.
I wonder if there is an API that I missed or if it's not publicly supported.

Currently, I have implemented local cache update with server data when app is killed using Push Notification and Notification Service Extension. So it works even the app is killed by the user, but I wanted to know whether this is app review safe work around or not as I am not finding any documentation for this.
We're trying to add simple notifications to our CarPlay integration that should open certain template when pressed, but the issue is that when pressing this notification on CarPlay screen nothing is invoked in the code (presumably didReceive should be invoked). All works fine with the same notification but pressed on the iPhone screen - didReceive is invoked properly. How should I handle the action when push notification is pressed on CarPlay screen?
We are implementing a camera intercom calling feature using VoIP Push notifications (PushKit) and LiveCommunicationKit (iOS 17.4+). The app works correctly when running in foreground or background, but fails when the app is completely terminated (killed by user or system). After accepting the call from the system call UI, the app launches but gets stuck on the launch screen and cannot navigate to our custom intercom interface.

I have three apps with a very low user rate, so it's easier to compare.
In all three apps, when I send a notification to APNs, over two-thirds receive a "Stored - Device Offline" status, but only one or two notifications are delivered afterward.
No message has been sent after that.
The total number of recipients is 89;
26 were delivered to the device, and 62 were stored in APNs.
One was delivered from storage, and one was discarded.
All app users are located in the same region, and mobile internet or Wi-Fi is available everywhere.
I can't believe that so many iPhone users aren't getting connected to APNs to receive the stored message. Or are event not connected.
Or are there any other reasons why a notification cant be transmitted. (User beahaviour, time of not using the app or something else?)

Hello, we have recently started signing and building our applications using Xcode 16.3. Since we made this change, we’ve noticed that the applications have stopped receiving silent push notifications (content-available: 1) when they are distributed via TestFlight or the App Store, even though we haven’t changed anything in the way these notifications are sent.
As I mentioned, this started happening after migrating our project from Xcode 15 to Xcode 16.3. Regular push notifications are still working as expected, but silent ones are not being received by the apps.
We are desperate because we rely on these silent notifications to inform the apps of updates, and we haven’t been able to identify the root cause of the issue.
I'm sending push notifications to a notification extension, and within the extension setting the threadIdentifier to be the same.
But I'm observing inconsistent grouping behaviour, and behaviour that changes over time.
The general iPhone settings are to display notifications as a Stack, and the app settings are to show on lock screen, notification center and banners and the notification grouping is set to by app (changing it to automatic doesn't affect the behaviour below).
Pushes are displayed on the lock screen grouped together, then if the device is roused and the screen swiped down to reveal the notification center then they are still grouped.
So far so good.
If the iphone is active then the notifications appear at the top of the screen, one by one, but in this case if there is a swipe down to reveal the notification center then the notifications are not grouped when displayed, but shown individually.
But then if one waits a few minutes and then displays the notification center for a 2nd time, sometimes now they will be grouped, but sometimes not.
Why are they not (always) being displayed as grouped in the notification center?

We are currently developing a WebAPI service that uses APNs (HTTP/2) to send push notifications to iOS devices.
(Using PushSharp's HTTP/2 support)
The WebAPI service is running on IIS using .net framework 4.8 and c#.
The connection to APNs is always maintained, and the connection is checked every 30 minutes using a dummy token Ping.
KeepAlivePeriod = 30 minutes and KeepAliveRetryPeriod = 10 seconds have also been set.
However, the following issues are occurring.
Although the Ping sent immediately before was successful, a TimeoutException occurs in the notification request sent a few minutes later.
There is no explicit disconnection notification from APNs, and the connection appears to be silently disconnected.
Once a TimeoutException occurs, it occurs frequently afterwards.

In light of this issue, I would like to be advised on the following two points.

What are the conditions that would cause APNs to silently terminate a connection?
For example, could this be due to inactivity, TLS restrictions, network maintenance, etc.?
If you have any official documentation or technical guidelines to improve the reliability of this system, we would appreciate it if you could share them with us.

Issue:
I am making an application that stores data locally from notifications fired from the server. Everything works fine in the foreground but the background is having problems with not being triggered when notifications are fired.
So we tried firing 2 notifications at the same time, including default and silent types. But the problem continues to arise on ios 18, when firing multiple times like that, the trigger is not handling all notifications, leading to data loss. I tried on ios 15 and it worked fine.

Hi everyone,
We're experiencing an issue with our Flutter app that uses PushKit, CallKit, and Janus for handling VoIP calls. Everything works fine when the app is in the foreground, but when the app is in the background or completely closed (terminated state), the behavior is inconsistent:
Sometimes, incoming calls are received as expected.
Other times, the app does nothing, and the call is not delivered at all.
Upon checking the console logs, we noticed that our app is being canceled (terminated by the system), which seems to be the reason why calls are not coming through. This happens randomly, making it difficult to reproduce consistently.
Additional Details:
The app is configured to handle VoIP notifications correctly.
We are using PushKit to wake up the app and trigger CallKit for the incoming call UI.
When the app is active, calls are handled correctly via Janus WebRTC signaling.
We have verified that background modes for VoIP are enabled in the Info.plist.
We suspect that iOS may be aggressively killing the app in the background, preventing incoming call notifications from reaching it.
Questions:
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with PushKit + CallKit on recent iOS versions?
Could iOS be terminating the app due to background execution policies?
Are there recommended best practices to ensure reliable delivery of VoIP notifications when the app is closed?
